the face sculpt and paint job is beautiful... i think Sideshow knocked this statue out of the park... i havent seen it in person, but in pics and videos she looks amazing... great review guys

Thanks guys. I was so surprised when it arrived how well done and great it looked. Paint app was great and the pose was strong and represented the character spot on. I have the EX but the normal (non helmet )is what captures her perfectly.

GoGo YoYo yeah I am hearing that a lot! reg head is a stunner! got to say I have heard the dark Phoenix and this mentioned in the same breath but for me this is night and day difference in quality! congrats on yours

I have the Exclusive and display it with the Regular portrait. The reg portrait is just so beautiful it would be a shame to not display it.

Your boy has good taste in statues. I'm personally more partial towards the Ex Portrait. It makes the entire piece vibrant and the continuity of the costume from body to head makes it feel more complete.

Late with a comment on this one but I really enjoyed the review guys. I finally caved & picked this statue up after months of being on the fence, it's just such a beautiful sculpt. I'm sure it will be sold out by then but with a movie coming out for her in 2019 I think this piece is going to be much more popular. Anyway, great review and I laughed at the comment "blink if you're a hostage". ha ha.

Absolutely love this statue. I however wish she was a bit more muscular and less feminine . Maybe smaller boobs due to lower body fat and overall a more rigid looking physique , like she looks in the newer comics. But nevertheless, it's fantastic, thanks for sharing!
