Its an amazingly looking card, I have 6900 XT from BIOSTAR with same reference look. If i play cyberpunk it gets 80C GPU core and up to 100C at Hot spot. with FANs almost at max. Its less if i under-volt it and adjust settings in game itself but there is a big issue with RTX and RX cards with stock cooling. With RTX its that 3rd FAN that goes through your card directly to your memory modules (well in most cases with standard onboard PCI-e placement ). With 6900 xt its that rare air outlet that affects your pci-e ssd, sata M.2 SSD and chipset well basically blowing hot air to your system-board... Honestly i see no advantage at all in keeping hot AIR inside your case, i would focus on making air cooling / air outlet directed to the outside of your case like with those turbine cards... Anyway here in Malaysia this water-block cost more then the kit from Bykski which is Water-block + Pump, Radiator240 and 2 FANS and its all assembled so you just need to install your PCB to water-block and attach radiator to case with 2 FANs (no tubing, no experiments with liquid and etc...), . 100% that quality of your water-block is better then Bykski but i have same AIO kit on my 1080Ti and yes temps never exceed 52C overclocked to max and for 3 years i never had an issue with it.... So finally i ordered same (set is 140USD currently from ALi).

AIOs are wonderful for their ease of use. I'd probably go to something similar if I didn't already have the full custom loop infrastructure I do.

Temps are definitely lower, not that the 6900XT ran that hot anyways. I haven't seen it get above 42C at all.

I agree. I was kind of surprised at first when looking at the parts and not seeing any, however after taking apart the stock backplate and seeing that AMD didn't include any either, I figured they weren't really needed.

Absolutely awesome video. I feel confident I won't screw my GPU up. I have an Aventum X from Digital Storm and I have 2 open cooling ports because Radeon did not have option for cooling when I built in December. CPU is cooled with hydro lux system. I'm really hoping it is set up for me to just plug in to the closed ports and be good to go.

Total height of the card (PCI-E contacts to top of water manifold is 144mm. From top of PCIE slot on mobo to top of water manifold is 139mm. Block only height is 130mm. Card length is 276mm with block

i really wish they made a waterblock for the 6700 XT. i love the corsair water cooling stuff and it would look so nice with the rest of my corsair gear. do you know if the 6800 XT block could be modded to fit the stock 6700 XT? the pcbs are pretty similar.

If you compress the pads together so it's all making contact again it should be good enough.

What hotspot temps you get not just avg but also max with a full gaming load, im seeing 68c on my ekwb waterblock for my 6900 xt heard about 65c avg is pretty normal on water, just used to gtx 1080 temps where never go's past 40c

That's going to be dependent on how much cooling capacity you have. My card's TJunction doesn't get over 54C with 21C ambient while gaming. I have a 3x180mm radiator.

yes, this is probably why one would be water cooling. I get around 107°C - 110°C Tjunc/hotspot with my Red Devil 6900 XT LE I'm also very curious how water cooling affected the temps.
