I am guessing that everyone else needs to get their act together, no need to help any of them with handicaps anymore. The shadow would be a hell of a lot faster if he didn’t run the motor so lean that why it idles like a top instead of a blower car ( the blower surge that sounds so good ) the leaner you run a blower car the higher it idles and the less HP torque etc you get, a blower car should go through about 15-20 gallons of fuel per run, hell my 350 NoS nova I ran a 5 gallon cell at the end of my run I would have 1/4-1/2 gallon left from burnout to shutdown 4 1/2 gallons of fuel in 5.9 seconds but I ran a holly 750 double pumper a 1” fuel line and a high flow electric fuel pump these guys makes these whole run on little 2-3 gallon tanks these motors are starving for fuel bad EFI isn’t made for drag racing and no wonder that swanstrom kid never show more than two runs he about 1/2 sec slower than everyone else only way he can make the field is if not enough cars show up if you gotta qualify he’s not a gonna make it in the field ever he’s got a 4 sec car that slow compared to these guys
