#Radiance from #HollowKnight was the first #ChristopherLarkin track we did - and since that was for our friends at Materia Collective and was their arrangement, here's our own version a couple of years later! It was so fun revisiting this track :D

We really wanted to finish our HK arranging adventures with our own version of Radiance after starting it with Materia Collective's arrangement, years ago! Now we wait for the silksong arrangements also, this is probably the most unique take ive heard on radiance played on piano. Definitely my favorite one by far! Now I can enjoy every hollow knight song on piano! though there is one that is somewhat missing (reason i say somewhat is because its not mentioned anywhere in the hollow knight ost and because its super short but loops perfectly.) Its essentially just a remixed version of brumms accordion that plays whenever you fight the grimmkin, just no one ever hears it because the grimmkin are too busy laughing abnormally loud for it to be appreciated. Have yet to see a piano tutorial of it since i'd really like to play it for myself. Its called accordion flames im pretty sure great stuff btw!

@@cutestcreeper569 exactly. my first try in p5 was perfect until i was die doing radiance, it was really scary and i got bullyed in few seconds, because i haven't even done regular TE to this moment. 💀 But now i have all bosses in god home with twice damage, i don't remember the name of this mode. Trying to make them all radiance (except Markoth, i think, it's impossible, i was dead exactly at the moment I've gotten it in second mode, so, i don't even want to try to fight with this one again).

this is literally my favorite final boss theme of all time. not only because it slaps, but because it's different than most other themes in the game, perfectly fitting it's character, as well as tying into the Sealed Vessel theme as well

I remember learning the materia collective version from your channel.. good times.. I mean the learning proces was sickening, it was piano-novice-me's first time seeing "fast octave chords" (arpeggios) and it was absolutely revolutionary to my piano playing- I felt like a god after getting it at half the speed, thinking full speed is just simply NOT something humans can play. seeing your own cover now brings me a lot of memories and huge joy, I didn't even think you were going to do this hahah

This one's our arrangement! The one we did previously was a Materia Collective arrangement, and we really wanted to make the entire HK soundtrack ourselves - so thought we'd finish with this, since it was the first ever Christopher Larkin track that we'd performed :D

I like them both! It was a challenge because I deliberately didn't listen to the Materia one, which was done a few years ago, before doing this one. I'm glad they've turned out substantially different enough that people can have opinions on which one they prefer. Note though: The other one is a performance of ours from the Materia Collective piano book, not our arrangement :)
