First time I heard this I thought in Kingdom Hearts when the violin part showed up, then I noticed it was from the same composer (Yoko Shimomura)

This is one hell of a beginning town theme. Most games would go with a more cheerful or relaxed theme-hell, even SMT has done this-but this game goes for a more oppressive kind of sound that strongly resonates with the feeling that there's a lot the hugher ups are hiding from you that you know will make things go even worse than they already are. What a surprise.

One of the best tracks in the game. I like how much it grasps the feeling of Alistel. I just enjoyed walking around the town with this music and the interesting machine/theocracy combination environment.

This game has the potential to be a hell of an anime. Epic battle scenes with Gafka/Rosch/Stocke Epic magic effects with Raynie/Aht/Eruka Mark as the support character Sonja as the waifu Granorg, Celestia, Forgia could be so beautifully drawn, even by using the in-game graphics as a base. If the OST is as good as in the game, it could be a huge success... they just need to somewhat shrink the story and merge some sidequests as "filler episodes" and it's done!

@@fernando1935 The game is just extremely disjointed due to the non-linear and backtrack-heavy structure of its story. Its one of those stories that heavily utilizes its source-medias (a videogame in this case) properties such as non-linear exploration and progression. A RH anime or manga could potentially be amazing as a spin-off , but ihmo the main-story and its timetravel plotpoint would be extremely hard to replicate in linear format like manga or anime.

super underappreciated game. i never did finish the original one, but i'm (re)playing perfect chronology now. i remember the silly knockaround puzzle combat being the primary reason I abandoned it, but maybe i'll give it another chance now. I hope so.

Did you try it again? I'm guessing if you don't like the combat you won't like the game.
