This game has really had an impact on me. When Bianca's dad arrived at Nimbasa City, I cried and wished for Bianca to stay. N's farewell, the gym battles, Team Plasma, and everything made this a beautiful game. This amazing song brings back the nostalgic memories of starting your adventure as a Trainer, accepting the quest to complete the Pokedex. If you are a Pokemon hater, please give Pokemon a chance. You don't know the true beauty hidden deep inside. Long live Pokemon!!

With the past generations, a lot of the routes before victory road seem to hype you up somehow in my eyes gen 5 changes all that, instead it’s the type of music that makes you think about how far you’ve come, and you’re journey will soon be at its end. Back in 2011. I remember playing this game one thursday (maybe?) at noon. Walking along this route, facing the trainers on the road and then my rival. My team was (all that I can remember) Samurott, Druddigon (or maybe it was Whimsicott?), Krookodile, Sigilyph, Klinklang (or Klang, dunno, I think it was Klang) and Simisear. I was watching TV on April Semana Santa vacations while playing, lying on my bed with the heat in my room. Normally I am not able to remember my past days perfectly like this, but I remember that day thanks to this music, one of the best in the game and in the entire gens. So, so nostalgic, indeed.

The music itself is actually still accessible in the game too, in the ex-grunt's house in Icirrus City you can talk to someone who is a sound designer and make the music play.

As it’s been echoed already, there’s a certain melancholy tone to this which makes it super powerful. It’s fitting too. You’re about to make your way to in all likelihood fight N (it’s not yet known if he’s taken the league yet, but everyone seems to be aware that you’re going to have to face him) and that fight is going to determine the fate of the region. I don’t 100% recall if there’s dialogue pertaining to this when your rivals farewell you, but it’s at least implied all the same, all the characters know what’s about to go down and that just makes this theme all the more powerful. Great track from a great game.

My favorite games are the 1st gen games, and I'm really annoyed with the stuff they took out of 5th gen. Except the variable experience gained. I did not care for that. But everything else - double grass, grotto, phenomena, music changing with movement, seasons changing... I loved those. Oh, except the pokemon musical. X and Y are by far the most revolutionary games in the series so far. In a good way. The games are great in my opinion. Unova had its moments, but Kalos feels so much more alive in every way. They're both outstanding generations, but I like generation 6 best.

This always reminds me of the days when the Pokemon games weren't rushed to be out by the holiday seasons and were actually polished. Don't get me wrong, Generation 8 has its upsides, but there were plenty more bad things about them. National Dex cutting was the big one, not to mention adding an option to turn the EXP Share off for those who didn't want it.

I get nostalgic when I hear this oddly. I first came to this route when the sun was going down in my game, then played the Elite 4 at night, and the E4's music is perfect for night time. It was a really good feeling.

This song is fitting for me because this was the LAST Pokemon game i was fully invested in, mainly because I had to erase my data and give Black, Pearl and HeartGold to my niece and I never played a Pokémon game since.

I love this track more than any other in the pokemon series. I arrived on Route 10 through my first playthrough at 6 PM, when the sky was a bright orange, and there was a drizzle, making the entire environment seem eerie. As we walk this path, we know that N is probably beating Alder, and we are the region's only hope to save the relationship between man and pokemon. This theme reflects the feelings of dread, uncertainty, and nervous exhilaration that the main character feels at this moment.
