I'm 18, almost 19, I remember watching the Pokémon Black & White anime on TV. I unfortunately never played the game until very recently, though. My very first experience with a big city in any videogame was with Grand Theft Auto 4 back in 2012, I remember being amazed by how big LC was. I felt something similar with this place in the Pokémon Black Version game. All those skyscrapers, the people talking, the city felt more alive than any other place in the game. The first Pokémon towns literally have like 5 or 6 inhabitants at max. Castelia felt more crowded, it is in fact a huge city. The Unova Region is based on New York City, so no wonder they put those high buildings there. I just love this. Castelia was the first true CITY in all the games. I might be biased because I basically grew up with Gen5, but for this and many other reasons, I Say this game is perfect. Beyond perfect. But again, I might just be biased. After years spent watching the anime, i was finally able to play the videogame, I finished it in about 14 hours. It's the second game of the Pokémon series that I have ever completed, the first one being Pokémon Crystal (2001) on an emulator on my now-unused Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. There's a reason Pokémon is such a big franchise. Even better than GTA (my favourite gaming serie) considering that Pokémon also has a TV show, tons of merchandise and more stuff. Gen5 especially, that's peak imo. Yeah I might be blinded by Nostalgia, but this is just how I feel. This game deserves all the attention it gets. Love from Italy 🇮🇹✌️ Also, fun fact, the Italian name of this city in Pokémon BW is WAYYYY more different than the English name. We truly had to differentiate ourselves 😂

I watched the anime when i was 15. Now i am 25. Miss my high school life.

Este lo jugué en su tiempo (cuando salió, pero en emulador). Fue el primer de pokemon que en sí jugué con su música, ya que las anteriores las jugaba a velocidad x2 o x3 entonces los muteaba. Esta canción en especial fue la que más se me pegó, fue donde me di cuenta que la saga de pokemon en sí tienen unos temazos, qué nostalgia.

The musical variation on themes and the addition of a drum beat when your character walks or runs is one of the best memories I have of Black and White, as is the singing Japanese guy by the village bridge.
