12th treatment done. Infusion #7 & beyond are Herceptin & Perjeta only; no chemo.
Treatment 7 Labs showed low hgb (7.9) which explains my exhaustion. & low CA (7.2) & low K (2.8). supplements for a week. Labs on 1.2.2024 - hgb (8.9), mg (0.6), ca (7.2). Started iron supplements. Labs on 1.16.2024 hgb (10.7), mg (1.5), ca (9.4), k (3.6). Labs on 2.5.2024 hgb (12), ca (9.7), k(3.4) Labs on 2.26.2024 - mg (1.8), ca (9.4), k (3.3)
Surgery Tuesday (1.23.2024). Itchy near steri strips, tegaderm ... Benadryl helps. Overall, doing pretty well considering. Got my JP drains out!! Steri-strips have to stay on for up to a month 🙁 tegaderm came off with JP Drains. I will continue Benadryl. Despite feeling pretty good; I'm still healing and need to give my body grace. 1.31.2024 slept in bed instead of recliner. 2.1.2024 Changed from bra to compression tank.
Medical drama(on day 116): Lost consciousness a few times. Probably orthostatic bp. EMTs checked me over. All good. Taking it slow today when changing positions.
11.24.2023 PET scan results no lymphoma or breast cancer visualized on scan.
TCHP (Taxotere Carboplatin Herceptin Perjeta) Chemo treatment day 112 (cycle 6: day 1).

1. TCHP Chemo treatment (Taxotere Carboplatin Herceptin Perjeta) 1x every 3 weeks for 6 cycles (minimum target 4 cycles)
2. surgery to remove my implants and all remaining breast tissue
3. HER2+ antibodies continue for 12 - 18 months
4. If surgery pathology still shows malignancy... (more chemo and/or radiation...)

How many more times do you have to go for the infusions?

I need to go for a year. By my calculations, I need 6 more. I expect infusions will conclude in late July.
