Hi there,Alan, does the rad flow booster go on flow or return,? As I have come across thermostatic valves, on flow or return sides of a radiator in the past,. But you say this product is for the lock shield side, am I right?

It needs to pump from the hot side to the cooler side so the direction of flow is important and it also replaces the lock shield. The pump can be rotated to pump in either direction.

@@alandwright2Hi Alan, sorry but I read this two ways. Does it push water into the radiator OR pull water from the radiator? I honestly thought the thermostat was the water in (or at least it is on my troublesome rad). Thanks.

@@TheLsduk1 The only way that you can tell which way the water is flowing is to see which pipe gets warm first. The pump can push or it can pull (you just rotate the pump - it fits either way). Fit the RFB so that it pushes the water through or pulls water from the radiator. Replace the TRV. Pushing through a radiator is better than pulling but it works either way.

I have one of these. Tried to contact you to get a refund for the v2. It is so loud that there is no point in having it. The inherited lazy system is in our living room. It disturbs everything as its also pumping out 60db of noise as well as hot water

@@user-re3si8vv8o The pump is so very quiet but it it creates a small vibration that can in some circumstances be amplified through your pipework but only in some homes. It may be there is a problem with air as well. I offer a refund if a customer wants to return the pump but I cannot recall your email. Please resend your email and I will send you instructions to return the pump for a full refund.
