Thank you for this video. I have e350 leaking antifreeze. Looks like lower hose. But at least I know how to remove radiator.

Nice vid, I have a 2001 E250 I just bought with a bad radiator. I’m a fair shade tree, but it’s always nice to find a vid of what I need to do. It would have been cool if you’d included the pulling out of the old and sliding in of the new rad in the vid. Also at the end, remind not to forget the trans cooler lines.

Hey😊 3year later question? If the temperature gage on the dash is not working, what's that mean, how can I get back to work. My e150 is sucking coolant like crazy, I can't tell if the engine is getting overheated

What about adding trans fluid how much did you have to add after replacement of radiator ?

Usually you may loose about a quart just add a quarter quart at a time and check your dipstick. Thanks for watching and besure to subscribe

Question: what brand is the radiator replacement and did it have a tow package? Thank you for the video, I may have to replace mine due to the trans cooling connectors may have a damage oring, it seems they arent replaceable. Would like to see how you reconnected the tranny and oil lines back.

Either I got it from spectra or carquest or 1800 radiator, I'm not sure Thanks for watchin.

I am curious of fan direction. When I open van engine cowl I don't feel any air. I wonder if I put it backwards after a water pump replacement? Can't find literature or photos of it. I thought I was careful but been having over heating problems. Now radiator sprung a leak so I am replacing it. I will have it open, not sure if it is obvious or not. Van never had problems its a 1994 E250 with 4.9. All auto parts from Autozone failed in a year or less or before I ever installed them like 5 bad alternators. They had to buy me a factory new one after that crap.

I'm purchasing an Ford E150 soon and I already know the radiator needs replaced, I was just wondering how long I should let it run for before putting it on the road? Thanks!
@fixergood4 жыл бұрын
I usually let it warm up for a half hour this way I make sure all the air bubbles are out of the system. Thanks for watchin and besure to like and subscribe

@@fixergood how the air bubbles goes out? With the water bin open?
@fixergood4 жыл бұрын
@@guillermowillybianchini5313 I add coolant untill it qont take any more and that usually takes all the air bubbles out, but most the time I use a air lift that sucks all the air out of it.thanls for watchin.

After you drain the radiator do you have to do anything to the lower radiator hose like pinch it so the coolant from the engine does pour out?
@fixergood4 жыл бұрын
You can do that to make sure all your coolant comes out , depending on how long ago a coolant flush was done I'll add to it with antifreeze or water to reach the correct freezing temp or 50,50 mixture thanks for watchin and beaure to like and subscribe

I was getting into the video until you said all these radiators are the same for the E-Series that's why I had to pay $860 for my radiator because it's the only one that would work for it it's a 1993 Ford E350 with 7.3 diesel
