I love this song, but it makes me sad. A beautiful story about a girl with mystical powers. But people who love her try to hide her mystical powers to protect her from fearful and hateful people. What a moving song that illustrates the problem with humanity and the way we don't handle fear in a healthy way.

Radical Face, you have no idea how much impact you're music means to so many people, i for one, lyrics that have touched my soul!!! I had discovered Ben Cooper watching the Blacklist five years ago, when I had about the Family trees, The Bastards, Welcome home... i had definitely felt in love with the radical face style, i still not really heard all the songs ‘cause it takes me time to pass to another without listening one over and over... I love this song. But I’ll tell you. This song makes me sad. I think of the day my friend lost his daughter. Just like in this video....She was led away from him. It seems almost possible that the dead had her hand. Took her out over the water. If only he could have put a bell on her ankle. Good story Ben. Hope to see one of your shows someday.

Beautiful interpretation! I liked the ghosts, and the "light white as milk," and the sleepy mom. Knowing the rest of the story, I think I would have included a bit more of the neighbor, but I guess this song is mostly the daughter's. Overall, really good!
