You made that rock crawl look easy! Your rig’s articulation was on point, and it was a thrill to watch it in action on such a tough trail.

Great trail! Done it in my 4runner and dirt bike... REALLY fun on the bike. On 2 wheels you better not stop on those steep rocky sections.

Thank you for getting this published! Very helpful and informative. Much appreciated. (I've been offline for several days, playing in the Owyhee Canyonlands and then running several sections of the Nevada BDR, heading into Death Valley today)

@@TrailTraveler It has been SPECTACULAR. Unvelievable scenery! It's late in the year for Oregon and northern Nevada, so almost no people to deal with on the trail either. 🙂 Temps are just getting "down" to the mid-90s in Death Valley, so...bearable.

I've been at the top of that hill and there are very good views from there. I don't think I want to try going up it, you can access the top from Deer Creek trail- drive to the overlook then drive back the way you came.

But that takes away from the "I think I might die on this hill today" feeling :)

Can confirm the pucker factor is real on this trail. How does this compare to Black Bear as far as the exposure?
@TrailTraveler2 ай бұрын
The switchbacks on Black Bear are much wider and not off-camber.

What engine did you have in your jeep before, you mentioned that you had problems. Was it it 2.0?

We have the 3.6. We had a roller bearing seize and it ground the camshaft down destroying the engine.
