This bloody scene. There are some really emotive scenes in this film. Some happy moments, some sad ones too… but this scene. This is the exact moment that James made a friend. That’s why I love it. Having had *some* similar experiences in my own youth, I can say that this moment is the best of the entire film. In this precise moment, he trusts Coach and Coach’s friend, and in return gets a radio and a hamburger. The simplest of interactions to represent a new friendship, and it hits like a motherfucker. I consider it an enormous shame that I never had the chance to meet Mr. Kennedy. Goddamn.

I'm just a person, just like anyone else with any severity of any kind of disabilities.
