Thank you! I didn't think about twisting the power line coming from the panels... BUT it worked completely... I have been dealing with the periodic birdies on HF since 2019! I even tried torroids... maybe not the correct mix though...., but the twisting really worked.... 73, Julius K4NAL

Question / Frage: will the solar pannel cable pulling through/into a metal pipe have the same endresult as the twisting ? / Will man dasselbe reasultat erzielen wen man die leitungen vom PVC zum MPPT in ein metalisches rohr zieht? Thank you for your reply - vielen dank fuer ihre Antwort. 73 de VA2VFF

Hi. A shielded cable would also bring an improvement. Just try it.

Well, I guess It's an MPPT. You may have to connect an additional EMI Filter at the inside and outside connections, as well as an additional ground at the chassis. But keep in mind that every MPPD produces some noise. Maybe you can use a coax cable instead of the twisted line on the DC side (to the solar panel).

I parked an MG rental car at a carpark with solar on the roof of the car park, the remote control for the car refused to work ( I couldn't lock the car), I changed the remote battery thinking that was the issue... But even with a brand new battery it still didn't work. Luckily I managed to start the car and moved it away from the solar panels. I'm assuming the charge controller created interference.
