Radio Caroline North 1964 to 1968

I am just back from a 2 weeks holiday on the Isle of Man. I enjoyed it very much. On 3rd of August I went to Mooragh park in Ramsey in the hope to meet some people of RCN but only Johnny Wilson and another former DJ were at present. Also a reporter of Manx Radio was there and made some recordings that afternoon. Anyway, the best was the turn up of Oldtimers organised by RCN. I took a number of photos for my archives. I did not attend the evening event held in a hotel in Ramsey, because had to travel back by bus to Douglas. Anyway a great day and the weather was fine. Nice memories indeed.

I had nice memories of Radio Caroline North. They even sent me a QSL card and one of the DJ's sent me a numberplate for my collection from the Isle of Man.

I am just back from a 2 weeks stay on the Isle of Man. I also met some DJ's of Radio Caroline North in the Moorag park on 3rd of August in Ramsey 2024. I did not attend the evening event at a hotel, because had to travel back to Douglas and don't like to travel back by bus at dark to Douglas.

I remember listening to radio Caroline when I was a child. Had a small transistor radio a torch hiding under the bed clothes so mum and dad couldn't hear it. Memories. 🥰

Was the best time in radio listening to RCN, I still look out from the Queen's Prom in Ramsey wishing Caroline was still there. Mind you the Fredericia would be is some nick if she was still there!😂😂😂😂😂😂
