I'm new to your channel and have watched several of your videos. I just made my first ever CW contact on the eve of Easter Sunday, something unplanned . . . I tail ended a QSO and threw out my call. Much to my amazement, the gentleman answered back to me, N7EF, Don in Kent Washington. I was thrilled to receive the coveted QSL card to commemorate my first ever cw qso. Is it just me or is there only audio on the left channel for this video?

My bad. I recorded the audio directly into the camera (via a wireless Sennheiser pack). The audio went into the left channel and I forgot to render the video with audio set to Mono. I blew it...

alchemistTi I have quite a bit of camera gear for still/video (used for my work). I’ve started shooting these with my Canon 1DX mark II. The lens is a Canon 85 f1.4L. It’s absolutely overkill for this task but I enjoy using it. You don’t need high-end camera gear for KZbin. Any camera can shoot 1080p video these days. But you do need good lighting and audio if you want your videos to have above-average production value.
