A crystal radio needs no power but I would not rely on it in an emergency. If you have a 5 or 12 volt D.C. radio there are power packs for 5 and 12 volts fairly inexpensive. Thanks for watching!

I love my GR-88. Picked it up pristine a couple of years ago. We're mostly DAB up here but still a crowded FM and some AM stations. Here being Edinburgh. Need to set myself up for better HF and satellite reception with the world going insane the way it is.
