It's funny how times have changed in radio especially in the Peace Country. When I was a kid growing up in Grande Prairie it was either CFGP or CJXX and you also could get CKYL in Peace River now we have 5 radio stations lol

CKYL......even though I live in Grande Prairie we still got to listen to it then. Great memories. Nice to also hear a different CFRN jingle.

Well-I, just, finished, listening, to #1; love it, Mr. Summers! A buddy, of mine, gave me six ninety minute cassettes, of IDs, so, this is my kind of listening-another 'jingle fanatic':)-just, read your post description-On, to your montage #2; thanks, for posting!

Fond memories of the jingles of CKRD Red Deer , Alberta, especially the "Now Sound" ID at the 4:01 minute mark, how often did I hear that one back in the day. One of the nicest I think. I also remember the KFRC San Francisco jingle at the 5:15 mark when I lived in Alberta and heard it at night on long distance AM radio.

1:13 - You're supposed to be WCBS FM on 101.1, not 880 AM. The format of this station is oldies music, while the format on AM is all news.
