In exclusive interview with Colonel Saw Chit Thu, secretary of the Karen State Border Guard Force (BGF), he spoke of his view regarding to the letter of KNLA Vice-Chief of Staff, General Baw Kyaw Heh, urging unity among Karen armed groups and on the reinforcement of BGF troops in Papun areas.

He mention about KNLA attacked them in Baw Tha Pru villages, that's is incorrect. BGF just open fire the along the way from Thay Lah Baw village to Pwa Gaw village. KNLA soldier just keep stand by on situation. BGF Maung Tin Win from bat: no.1013 told the residents that they were opening fire was just for greeting the villagers.
