Since the Eichmann's trial, I have been a staunch supporter of Israel. I am now 77 years old. I have travelled extensively in the Middle East from Iran, Turkey, to Yemen for 12 years. Israel once. There has always been a steady influx of Jews to Israel and an outflow of Arabs, both good and terrorists to Europe and the USA. These Arabs have been building their case in these two continents, mostly with Rich Arab's money. Their public relations have been effective in promoting their interests. Whereas the Israelis have been busy in building their new ancient home from the rubbles to an extraordinary developed and only democratic country in the region while fighting daily the terrorism. But in the process, the Israelis have forgotten the art of public relations with the world to counter the displaced Arabs' propaganda and their terrorist activities. Since the October 7 barbaric attrocities by Hamas, I see some important Israelis have started to talk to the world presenting their case without any arrogance. Much more has to be done in this respect when Europe and the USA are flooded with the Islamic fundamentalists and some even in their governments. Iran has guided cruise missiles with help from Russia and China which are hard to intercept as they fly below radar, but the fact they haven't used it and opted instead for dumb ballistic missiles which on impact leaves a crater and significant damage in its surroundings shows you that they were testing mainly Israel's air defense capabilities and they used this attack to send them a warning. If Israel retaliate by attacking the oil and nuclear sites, this would be certainly a major escalation and many would wonder whether this attack is seen as a justification and reasonably acceptable. That the Arab gulf countries have reassured Iran Israel will not be allowed to use their airspace to attack them is fortunately a good decision made by them.
