if you have problem breaking props you can use WLtoys XK X251 props work fine maybe little stronger

Just bought them👍 we will see👍they look bit stronger, but I dont think that one on the back can be replaced as these black ones from x251 looks bit bigger and may not fit that hole, but at least front should be fine

Is that antenna solder into the board or uses ufl connector? Im about to do 4W 2.4ghz booster mod on this radio to fly my x450 fpv and not worry about range

I watched GIJO's radio mod. The radio case calls for 6 x 1.5v batteries = 9 volts. I could not tell if the radio battery mod was a 2s Lipo, but it looked like it. 2s Lipo nominal volts =7.4 volts. 7.4 volts is 1.6 volts or 17.8% lower voltage than what the radio case call for. So, my question is, 1) will the radio work on a 2s Lipo and 2) will the radio still have the same or sufficient range of the 9 Volt battery setup?

Hi. Yes.. I use 2s lipo for the modification. It works well. The only worried is that, lipo 7.4v full charge at 8.4v dropped to lowest at 7.4v after 3 times flying. Better not to continue to fly when lipo only hav 7.8v n below as the tx will cut off at bout 7.1v.

Is this a 2S battery? And do you know if a 3S would damage the transmitter?

hi. yes, 2S battery. Not very sure on 3S battery but better don't take the risk.

Not a replacement, it just another way to power up the tx using rechargeble lipo.

You can try just swap the stick gimbal vice versa

Press and hold "Stick Mode" button then turn on transmitter. Then adjust centering springs and drag plate screws under rubber bungs on back of transmitter. By swapping stick gimbals you can get mode 3 & 4.

I made the same mod. Also powering a booster with same battery. I’m using an 800mah battery and it’s easily powering both.
