Mr Padhiary, your collection is just good, but not better. Except that 85 model Bahdur and Prince delux, all sets IC. In my opinion the best Philips set is Philips Skipper (1970) second best Commander (1973) and third best Commander, (1985) among portable radios. All these are transistor sets. True, radios of 1970s may not be working now, except in rare cases, but transistor sets of 80s can work. I wonder how can you miss transistor sets of 80s at least when you attend BBSR radio fair regularly!

After liberalisation Grundig TV came to India while the radio had stopped production. In India German company radio Telefunken was available during the 1970s. One person in my village had purchased it in 1972 which had wonderful sound quality and wonderful SW reception. Then I was 12 years.

Mr Padhiary, please don't be dishonest like others. Why did you stop moving the tunning further and return when playing the Champion set? Let people know that worst effect of Philips TEA series IC which caused motor beating sound in some portions that destroyed the reputation of Philips radios beyond 3v.
