I love your info. That you are giving. I been trying to figure out the whole Online Radio stuff. I been working on a website right now. Also i love everything your saying about website this is so true. My think is how do you get the music to play on the radio without being in trouble. I have songs that me and my friend wrote that about 15 songs. I have also hired singers.... Also bought the beats. But right now i trying to figure what others songs i would be able to put on my radio station. Keep doing your thing and enjoy the content. I love music... Accept i would do it as a clown lol. And other voices also.

Sad truth us that you can't get anything without paying for licensing. And this is prohibitively expensive.

You have a better chance getting listeners by advertising in your local papers than you do on your website these days! 18000 new websites per day and getting worse. Just take an ad out in the local papers or on the local billboards.

Not even a word about licensing. While all advises a great, how can small internet radio broadcast, for example, Beatles or Roling Stones music without paying ridiculous amount of money for licensing?
@AudioInsider_YT2 жыл бұрын
The video wasn't about licensing? It was about marketing. Completely different topics. Depends what you mean when you say 'Ridiculous amounts of money' unfortunately, the fees for royalty collection aren't set by me. If you require advice on this area, I suggest you seek qualified advice from a copyright lawyer as that's not my area of specialism.
@drysabre22422 жыл бұрын
@@AudioInsider_YTsure this wasn't about licensing. I perfectly know that licensing fee is not set by you. My point is that your examples somehow referred to big names such as Beatles and so on. There is a big difference between marketing famous content and music that it is unknown to public. Makes sense?

BTW, there is practically the same question in comments - how to get music for radio. The answer is obvious: pay for it, and good luck if you ever break even.
@AudioInsider_YT2 жыл бұрын
@@drysabre2242 All of the points made in this video can be applied to any genre/era etc. This was just an example. If you're not breaking even then sorry to hear that, but radio *is* a solid and proven business model thats been around for a LONG time. Sure stations come and go and some do go bust, same with any line of business - but the basic premise has always been the same. Grow an audience and leverage it to generate revenue.

Why do you need more than a play button. Many detest data mining. Did Rush Limbaugh have a social medium stratify?
