I consider myself relatively experienced when it comes to fencing, and this type of green fence is not temporary. It's a massive step-up from heras, and I will be very surprised if it's ever removed, I know Lydney harbour well as I explored there years ago, and it's a lovely little spot for a look around. What a shame access has been restricted by this eye-sore!

I have a meeting now with the Environmental agency this week, they have changed their response on the permanent closure of the piers also we are looking into the legality of the fences that have been placed restricting public access. Hopefully, we can get some clarity of their plans and act on that information.
