1) Proximal Radioulnar joint
-Ulnar radial notch
-annular ligament
- both form osteoligamentous enclosure
- radius head spins inside the enclosure and over the capitulum
2) Distal radioulnar joint
-Disc is present also called TFCC
-Triangular Fibrocartilage Complex
-biconcave
- attaches to radius and ulna
- thick margins with good blood supply and perforated at the center.
3) Articulation
- proximal and distal radioulnar joints are mechanically connected
- transfer of forces happens from the distal radioulnar joint to the wrist.
- Concave radius with radial Ulnar notch which has high curvature
- Radius moves around the ulna
- joint articulation is good with the wrist in neutral.
