I am 81 years old today. I have been listening to MOHD. RAFI SAHAB right from the age of 11. There is not a single day when I do not listen tri RAFINSAHAB!! I felt sad on the demise of Rafi Sahab and have been yearning if there would be at all a person to be able to sing like RAFI SAHAB. My wishes have been fulfilled by SAURAB KISHAN and this has made me feel for ever I have been the contemporary of both these two Greats.

I have listened and sung rafi songs only, from childhood and am, like many, intimately aware of Rafi's nuances which is what Saurav has internalised to perfection. This is what makes him different from others. After the first shock of surprise, we can discern the differences with the legend. But we are comparing songs sung under different conditions Studio and amateur equipment. In a studio, saurav will blow us away! God bless.
