Thank fuck! I’ve been scrolling KZbin for hours trying to figure out how to power a motor that I bought! Thank you!

NOW I understand what happened when I put power on one wire of my Ebike hub motor. It briefly spun then stopped immediately. Because the current was stuck at one place. Thanks for the lucid video.

I FINALLY got what the fuss was about the back EMF. Everywhere I read back EMF was used to calculate the speed, but only now I am getting how it is actually done. Thankyou!

@@RCexplained I came back to this today, and I think there is something wrong with the diagram. Idk how to explain this in a short comment, but when i tried to draw a diagram of this, I couldn't really decide the winding direction of the coils because they have to keep changing according to this diagram. Sometimes clockwise and sometimes counter-clockwise. I think the terminals need to be at 120 degrees from each other.

I’m just trying to figure out if I can retrofit a brushless motor into my starter box, and what it would require to do so. If it can be done at all. My engines have such high compression the standard two 7.2v batteries cannot turn the flywheel. So I need to know what to do with the third wire? Do I need a small esc? Can I wire it like a brushed motor and run the 3rd wire to elsewhere? I am fairly, no, completely lost with the new brushless motor workings. Help!!
@RCexplained2 жыл бұрын
You will need a brushless esc

Why bosch drill 10.8v li model have only 2 wires out? But it is brushless
@Oli420X2 жыл бұрын
Most DC motors are this way, with a simple positive and negative to spin the motor, reversing the polarity to go the other way. I believe the speed is modulated via decreasing the voltage. Not really sure the specifics of windings, but it's a continous, simpler version of the BLDC one in this video.

I admit, I'm coming in as someone who knows very little about brushless motors, but it would make a LOT more sense if C1 and B2 had the same polarity and B1 and C2 had the same polarity. If they do, the magnet would stop when it is pointing at A1 and A2 and that would trigger the pole reversal causing it to flip again thus rotating, but if it was really the way you have it drawn, the magnet would stop halfway between B1 and C1 on one side and halfway between C2 and B2 on the other side. I'm just going to assume you messed this up since what you are saying doesn't really make any sense.

Is there any 2 wires BLDC motor is available in market? If yes, give me brief explanation how it was possible?
@rexated514810 ай бұрын
An alternator might be a brushless dc motor.
@rexated514810 ай бұрын
A fan motor might be a brushless dc motor. The motor speed is synchronous to the ac frequency. By controlling the frequency of the AC supply, you control the speed of the rotation. A variable frequency drive “vfd” is used as an electronic speed controller (esc).

The thumbnail and right illustration is definitely just wrong, as can been seen in the signal graph of the 3 wires

Yep, this only happens for a split second once every rotation.

This is a great example of a counter effective you tube piece of knowledge. The details are all wrong or ambiguous at best. The three terminals explained as (+), (-) and (digital pulse) are simply wrong and overwhelmingly disappointing.
