Here is the brand new QT80 branded 10 meter amateur transceiver, with a lot of cool features and up to 80 watts PEP on SSB, 50 watts on FM.
In this video, you will also see the super simple modification that opens this radio up for 15 meters, 12 meters, and yes, 11 meters.
A Solid radio from what I see, and there is a discount using this link below:
radioddity.ref...
To make it clear, Google tells me I have to click the "paid endorsement" check box on my videos, when IN FACT, i was NEVER compensated with money to make this video. I simply received it from Radioddity to show it and check it out. They asked me to say whatever I want in an honest review, and in the past, if ANY company ever sent me something that was terrible, YOU NEVER SAW IT ON VIDEO.

actually you can transmit CW through the Microphone without modifying the Microphone, by using the PTT as the CW key, it's a bit of a hassle but it works ................................... great review, keep up the good work!

Great video and run through Eric. This is a killer radio with fantastic performance. FYI - hold the BAND button to enable full VFO mode and get rid of the channels! (RTFM - it's a very good user manual!) Also, you will see closer to 100w PEP on the 10m band. You can use FT8 / digital modes using the built-in VOX.SPK mode - with a single cable connection to the MIC jack - it supports audio IN and OUT with no external interface needed! I have been working the world on 15m FT8 with my new AT-6666 PRO (QT-80) in this way. 73

Personally I find it an interesting radio, it is a good radio for 10 meters, and with the possibility of other bands, I had a President LINCOLN with "Chip_Switch", 10 - 11 -12 meters, I used it in digital PSK31 on 10 meters, by the mode you can already tell that that was about 20 years ago, and I like the 11 meter band, especially because I don't have space for big antennas, I have a Radio Amateur license and I have no problem with the Citizen band, before becoming a radio amateur I was first a Citizen band user. Many have been radio amateurs first and tend not to accept the 11 meter users. For now I can't buy it, I am in the "HK" area and I regret to say that I don't have the money, but I would buy it, I could use the 10 meters without problem and occasionally use the 11 meter band. Greetings.

Caveat : Mine is the Anytone Quad 6 Pro ! If you're serious about keeping these radios long term, I would add a Fan, or two ! You could fry eggs on the Heat sink, even with short transmissions ! If you plan on wiring for CW, you're in for a challenge ! It can be done, but it will take some thinking ! Too, sadly, there is no MOX switch, like on some earlier style 10 meter radios. So when using Paddles, the first character sent, will be chopped, making you stutter until the transmitter catches up ! A small but none the less frustrating issue for Code Heads ! I don't think it is an issue with a Straight Key ? If connecting to a keyer, you might be able to manipulate the stutter, but it will likely not be at a speed you prefer ! Also for whatever reason, to which I'm still trying to figure out, the manual claims 80 watts on CW, but mine only has an output of 10 to 15 watts ? And on 15 meters, there is another strange anomaly ! I can whistle the radio to full, or nearly full output, but when speaking into the microphone, it only outputs a very low wattage, regardless of how hard I try and drive the microphone ! Works fine on all other bands, with the exception of issues mentioned earlier ! (I should mention these test were done into a 50 ohm dummy load !) Otherwise this is a great improvement over what the Amateur community has put up with, from the likes of President, and it's President Lincoln 2 ! Which is horrible on CW ! Anytone has hit a home run in my opinion, but perhaps have a few bugs to work out ? I have received compliments on the audio ! Something you just don't expect from such a priced rig ! Too many features too cover here ! But if you are going to research it, make sure that, " PRO " is in the description, else you will only learn of it's predecessor, simply the 6666 ! Hope this helps ! With all the above mentioned, I purchased another, should be here today ! So I'll see if I get the same results ?

Aloha Eric, this radio is perfect just the way it is. I do a lot of 11 meters, never CB, on my two G90’s. It would be nice if it could handle 2 meters also but that’s what my Anytone AT5888 UVIII is for. I just want more options while on the road or up in the mountains of Hawaii. I was hoping you were going to state how many whiskeys it can do on 11 meters on USB and LSB, if it would do the full 80 watts or not? I could use my G90’s for most of these functions but I would mount this rig in my Jeep with my Walmart bought CB mag mount telescopic antenna and call it a day. 👍

C'mon. Let's be honest. Are you really going to buy something like this to use it for CW??? Those of us to do do CW are already going to have rigs that we take portable for CW. You're going to buy this because you want to mod it for 11 meters, and put it in your car, and have the ability to use it for both CB radio, and ham. Thus far, I haven't really been tempted by any of the export radios. I figure if I want to listen to 11 meters, I can do that on any of my radios. This one, however, tempts. Throw in the ability to mod for 15 meters, and this one just might be the winner for me. Thanks for the video.
