I consider Radiohed are my generations Beatles and they are their spiritual successors.

Apparently this is used in media studies (I’m not sure if it’s ‘A’ level or degree) as it’s allegory parallels the burning of witches in the Middle Ages & the equivalent that is going on today (especially on the internet) & what precipitates it now & then, i.e ‘moral panic’. I particularly like the lines about the ‘jukebox’ & ‘sing a song of sixpence’, juxtaposing the old with the new, but also cleverly referencing the jukebox to mean that it appears we have lots of choices (as on a jukebox) but those choices are controlled by the owner of the jukebox and therefore merely giving the illusion of choice? …. Just my thoughts, for what they are worth ;-)

excellent thoughts! the old and new juxtapositions are a great point. And had not thought of the jukebox that way, but dang, that's a good observation.

the animation is a reference to the Trumptonshire trilogy, three animated kids shows from the 60's mixed with the Classic British horror movie The Wicker Man (1973). and Not i repeat Not on the horrible remake.
