this version sounds more classic. it gives a more natural feel to this song.. im not too fond of early/demo version of songs, but this one is by far the one i feel pleased to listen to, at least. the piano at the end is such a nice detail in this version overall.

I used to record stuff on minidisc too when I was in a band in the early 2000s. I've got heaps of discs now but no working minidisc player! I backed up most of it before my minidisc player died though.

I believe Thom was performing "True Love Waits" in The Bends era and that didn't make it onto a record until A Moon Shaped Pool. I recall you do get to see part of a live performance of Nude during the Ok Computer tour in the documentary "Meeting People is Easy".

yes there are 6 minidisc demos they are just rarely uploaded on youtube here is a folder with them mega.nz/folder/FVg1gCzA#w1LXZ97sQJkEieH-CiSWKQ (here they are called rehearsals instead of numbered but they are the same songs 9.1 is #3 here and #4 is two different ones together that's why there's 6 despite only having 5 rehearsal files and also there is the 4 track demo here is a bonus that was not part of the minidiscs but is another early version)

@@Kwibinem69 a ton of ok computer era demos were leaked online somehow and instead of trying to take them down the band decided to also release them themselves on Bandcamp for 18 days in 2019 this was part of that it's on the 9th disc you can read a bit about it here en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/MiniDiscs_(Hacked) content from these tend to get taken down idk how mine has survived so long but the only real way to get your hands on all of it is through things like soulseek

a couple years ago 16 hours of really great and interesting demo material for ok computer stored on mini discs leaked online (really recommend listening to the mini disc paranoid android I believe it's on youtube) and a bit later the band found out and released it officially for around 20 days I believe on Bandcamp although in lower quality and a few things removed for copyright reasons and then after that time was up they took everything down and ever since the contents have been kinda annoying to find as anything that isn't just like one song from it gets detected and taken down so the only real place to find more than a couple songs now is file sharing services like soulseek
