One of the first live recordings of this song, live at Continental Arena, in East Rutherford, US. Notice the organ solo in the ending.

During the 'What's there?' I still hear 'I may be paranoid, but no android.'

Insanely good version. I like the more experimental vibe to this version.

Wish they kept the organ at the end in the final version

This was the first concert I ever went to. They opened for Alanis Morrisette.

Don Habas that sounds so weird to say considering they’re now so much bigger than her lmao

Wow, I would've loved that! This was about the time I was discovering they were my favourite band in the world (after years of knowing it, but that's a long story) and I was in love with Alanis also. I was 12. Lol. (I often think of Alanis as 'my' Taylor Swift. Which is hilarious and shows the attitude shift- and dare I say it- change in intelligence and sensibility- of 90s kids to today's kids perfectly).

Is Johnny playing solo with violin..? Sounds like that. Odd...I haven't seen him doing that ever on stage - nonetheless he can play almost anything that makes a sound... This has to be one of the greatest Paranoid Android live recording ever.

@@zwp-uq3di I meant a solo starting at 2:31 that sounds surprisingly much like a violin.

@@SodomaMuikku oh, its a guitar but youre right i think they're (both Ed and Jonny) sometimes purposely make their guitar sounds like violin (e.g : Ed's part in Exit Music and Jonny's here).

Thom observing to the crowd ‘you look confused’ and then ‘this won’t confuse you’ …plays Creep 😂

My favorite version of this song. I love the long hopeless passage at the end that just builds till it ceases. I love the lack of transitions as well. Each segment just jumps around.

i remember MTV was making a huge deal out of the new album and this song in particular. Couldn't wait for the new album to come out

Not sure if you have heard it, but the Mansfield early version of this song is almost identical but with better quality. Might be worth the listen
@matthewleone7941 Жыл бұрын
@@Eli_Inc. Yeah I have, love it. I keep coming back to this one though because Phil starts it out by himself before Thom comes in. I think it's a great beginning. Also, I love the audience recording because it gives it some depth and echo.

Yeah it's super cool to listen to a different version of this song and the end is very hypnotic. But the studio version is just unbeatable, and if the studio version was like this we wouldn't like the early versions as much as we do. This one is my favorite from the early ones: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hoXOd3ybfNGdY5I

Sure, I got so amused by thinking that Jonny was playing violing on his guitar solo. It sounded so much like violin, much more than other live recordings, which is odd I think.
