@@Tetus7 that's probably true. It's strange though because in the years following OK computer, he's seemed, if anything, more confident in his falsetto. So I wonder if he could have done it (in, say, the early 2000s.)

@@GoSolar He could sing those notes in falsetto today, but in this song he sings them in modal voice which is much more powerful than falsetto. He could perform it live and sing the high notes in falsetto but it would sound silly.

+Guilherme Eddino There is absolutely no way Thom can do that anymore. He hasn't been in good vocal shape in a while. There's a reason why he sticks to his falsetto way more now. Still a good singer, but the last time he belted out really good was probably during HTTT, and even then.

This song was inspired by the Hungerford Massacre, it was written as a response to it, thus in respct of the victims and their families, Radiohead stopped playing the song in their live shows.
