I just reach in there and it's there, symphonies, the "Shaving Cream Song" all of 'em. So yeah drummer singing along is legit.

Another great, u su g drummer is Danny of Seraphine of Chicago. Hi is work on their early albums is stellar and amazing. Hi I recommend a song called 'The Bond Villain' By Robert Nix
@donutsbyjdilla97083 жыл бұрын
i feel like this song, and music video in particular, marks a key moment in radiohead history. since the bands creation, they’ve always only wanted to make music. they didn’t care about stardom or anything like that, but upon ok computers release and phenomenal success, they couldn’t avoid it. their touring of ok computer was incredibly stressful and challenging, and left yorke’s mental health in a terrible state, which was what their song “how to disappear completely” was based on. once they released their 6th studio album, their record contract was over. they were free. they tried to retire, but even just not working felt weird to them. so they got back together to make “In Rainbows”. many of the songs from “In Rainbows” were recordings from years previous, that they wanted to release, but weren’t able to due to their record label. when creating “In Rainbows” they didn’t have these limitations. they were free, which was what they always wanted. and i feel like this video represents that. this video doesn’t have any special meaning behind it, it’s just the band members having a blast recording the masterpiece of a song they always wanted to record. freedom and happiness. this sounds pretentious as fuck but i just wanted to write this comment to say what i thought about this.
@jbeans5003 жыл бұрын
it doesn’t sound pretentious! good analysis!

Amnesiac and Hail to the Thief proved in a way they were right to move on, even those 2 are damn masterpieces of music, their record company at the time was Emi, shortly had to face many transformations of the industry (anti-piracy restriction program, CD comedown, break up) and weren't concerned with Radiohead situation ,definitely conclusing Band wishes to take off was a safe move before a kind of earthquake in the music indusry. I remember they realesed In Rainbows for download with the well known "pay what you want" direct exchange with people. I can observe they already suggested this kinda "P2P" success with the song 2+2=5, i'm just relating this because of the outstanding In Rainbows results. It's my humble opinion folks, Regards😉.

Thom has nailed the art of dealing with his body while singing. When singers sing they often know not how to move their bodies, and when they try its often either too much or so obviously forced it’s not rhythmic or even enjoyable. Thom just moved his body the way he wants, he just jiggles, makes a derp face and immerses himself. I enjoy his movement, he moves the way I want to move when listening to his music.

After hearing a few other songs like No Surprises, and Paranoid Android I thought they were ok, but I was more into metal. I can’t describe it but somehow Radiohead grew on me. One day I had 2 hours of driving with a driving school instructor that I had already had the opportunity to have several times,And this time was surely the last with him, He always listened to rock music and this time it was the Radiohead album And obviously as I am a big fan it was even better for me! These 2 hours of driving for me were pure happiness, I drove in the fog in the curves without the instructor telling me to reduce the speed when I wanted to push a little more With this music in my ears and this peaceful atmosphere around me, driving is a therapy, but with Radiohead it's a complement to pure happiness. ❤ I may not have chosen him as my final instructor because of the car he was assigned to (413,000 km but like new!) but I will never forget that moment.

I really love this song, it's one of the most optimistic songs the band has ever released, but it has this thread of tension throughout that I think really elevates the piece to a new level. It's not quite foreboding, but like that feeling you get when everything seems to be going well, and the seed of doubt lingers in your head that it's all too good to be true. In that way it embodies the name of the song; all of the pieces are falling into place, but you aren't yet sure what the picture will be.
