This song completely obliterated any inhibitions and high minded preconceived ideas I had about songwriting. It made me realize that you can literally say whatever you feel, no matter how gut wrenching and disturbing it is and it could be beautiful and genuinely genius as long as it’s honest. We all feel like a “creep” at times to some extent but no one was ever brave enough to say this on a record before. This is a masterpiece!

Materialism and chasing superficial things in the world have definitely caused me to fall into deep depression too many times. The whole concept of comparing oneself with those around them, and trying to one-up them in how much “success” one can gain is a destructive path that only leads to pain and self-hatred (and sometimes, from many people I’ve known, it lead to them ending their own lives). It might be hard (trust me, I know), but try to live compassionately, and try to pursue something that’s actually important to you (a hobby, for instance). It’s worth it, I promise. Take care of yourselves out there.

Definitions of hard times depend on how tough the person is mentally. Me, I'm pretty damn weak myself. The people who see me in real life and know me know that I am the same person in a group of people and when I'm alone. Hard times can range from a break up to losing someone in a car crash, or to be at the very bottom, with no hope, nothing and nobody to live for. It can mean anyone, I was just leaving it open for different interpretations of what hard moments even are.

"Multiple Genres".The single Creep and the album Pablo Honey barely had any impact on any genre at all. Literally just a narrow debut for the british alt-rock scene during the 90's. I bet all of you still quite on the entry level of Radiohead. If you want something truly "influential", who had impact on multiple genres, take a good look at Kid A,who redefined electronic/art rock music, and music in general jeez.

Lo peor es cuando la canción se acaba y te deja una sensación de melancolía extrema. Sientes que te arrancarías el corazón del pecho si no la volvieras a escuchar otra vez.

I know Radiohead themselves are not a fan of this song, but I don't think they realize how many people they touched with this song.

I do think they realize, I think they've just heard it too much. The song has been played to death for them I think

Ya they didn’t like it because it became the staple of their band. If you were asked to name any song made by radio head your fist instinct would be to say creep and they really didn’t like that. They wanted people to know that they have other songs too

@@precision2190 yep. you right. But this is probably really the best their song.Touched.

When you were here before, Couldn't look you in the eye You're just like an angel, Your skin makes me cry You float like a feather In a beautiful world I wish I was special You're so fuckin' special But I'm a creep, I'm a weirdo What the hell am I doin' here? I don't belong here I don't care if it hurts, I wanna have control I want a perfect body I want a perfect soul I want you to notice when I'm not around You're so fuckin' special I wish I was special But I'm a creep I'm a weirdo What the hell am I doin' here? I don't belong here, ohhhh, ohhhh She's running out again She's running out She run run run run... run... run... Whatever makes you happy Whatever you want You're so fuckin' special I wish I was special But I'm a creep, I'm a weirdo What the hell am I doin' here? I don't belong here I don't belong here...
