All my cars Spektrum transmitter didn't go that far as this does. I took a chance of the Dumbo RC X6. Silly name for sure, but the radio is great especially for $25. Dumbo RC makes the RadioLink products and decided to make their own line. Francis, thank you for the review I have been on the fence between the Radiolink , the FlySky GT5 for me. Thinking about getting the FlySky i6x +$3 part to make both gimbals self centering for the kidos to use on their crawlers and bashers since the FlySky 6 channel Fs-BS6 receiver will work with it. Since the traditional 2 stick are a little easier for them to learn on. I can't wait to see the comparison of the tansmitters and receivers of Radiolink vs Flysky vs_______. One suggestion is that if you are going to throw the Traxxas TQI transmitter into the mix you might want to get a LINK adapter, to connect it to the App and mess around with it before you make a video. You can fine tunes lots things pretty easy through it with the touch of a button. ie. Endpoints, Sensitivity, Channel adjustments, Profile setting, Drag Brake, and link to other vehicles with a TQI receiver. If you have never messed with it, give it a shot pretty good for about $30-40 price range if one cannot afford a to upgrade a TX/RX system and already have more than one Traxxas TQI Rx/Tx in their vehicles. It is really useful for bashing and crawling. Their is a slight learning curve with the app, that can make a few adjustments hard to find for a first time users of it.

I have a pretty modded TRX6 with a 2700Kv AXE system, performs very well but the stock Traxxas transmitter is a bit choppy. Would an upgrade help? And how "jerky" is a Traxxas transmitter compared to this? And a programmable Transmitter would be nice, it took me a painful 10 minutes just to get the steering endpoints right, and the bad programming caused me to strip 2 $20 micro servos. :/ And now that I'm at the end of the video, you're really making me want to dish out 500 bucks and buy like 5 transmitters for most of my cars. This has to be the channel that has made me spend the most money :D. Keep up the good work! (well, not convincing me to spend money, but the awesome videos and content)

Hello kind Sir thanks for the awesome review and I look forward to hear from you soon. I hope you can help me with choosing between the FlySky GT5 and the RadioLink 6GS. Because I cannot make the decision between the two transmitters. If I am going to bite the bullet on one of these radio's I will need your help so please can you give me some advice on how to proceed and what I should buy for my new Arrma Typhon 6s? I have seen that you also have reviewed the RadioLink 6GS. (which was also a very awesome review, thank you for that) So the transmitter will be used for controlling my Arrma Typhon 6s and the FlySky and the RadioLink both are the same price for me here in the Netherlands. But I have a very hard time with choosing the right one because I want to have the best experience with my Typhon. I have been racing on road with nitro for a couple of years, but I have stopped for a long time now 10 years or so, and what I have learned is that there is so much more on the market that for me it is an overwhelming experience to get the right car and now I finally have made a decision to get the Arrma Typhon 6s. But it comes with a lousy radio so I've heard. I am going to use it just for fun and not competitive, I am going to drive the car on the road and gravel roads, and I will also need a very long range because the gravel roads are very long and I have some very large grass fields (3 football fields across). The last place I plan on going to be driving is in a forest. So these are the spots and sort of surfaces that I'll be driving on. I am going to use the Typhon 6s like daily . I think that the radio's both are great, but in your professional opinion, which one do you recommend? So I can get the best experience with my new Arrma Typhon 6s?? I hope that you can find the time to explain which one you are recommending for my personal use. Thank you very much for your awesome reviews and please stay healthy and stay safe. Greetings from the Netherlands!! MacSpacey out!!!

I chose to get the RadioLink RC6GS because it claimed a range of 600 meters and I am building a WLTOYS 124018 buggy with FPV so I thought this having telemetry (RSSI, battery voltage...) would be a great radio. My disappointments: 1- Physical issues: - Radio looks and feels cheap in the hand, plastic feels flimsy, its grip is thin and has no rubber or anything, my plain simple Spektrum DX2E is by far more ergonomical, better built and feels good in the hand. - The DSC plug was off center which looked ugly and there was a large piece of dirt/crap was lodged under the screen glass and there were fingerprints under the glass. So, upon receipt of the radio I had to disassemble it, resolder the DSC connector on the board properly so its hole gets aligned with the hole in the radio body and disassembled the screen to wipe it properly and remove the dirt! 2- Functional issues: - Most disappointing functionality lack for me is the absence of a steering dual rate knob/button. i.e. there is a steering dual rate function in the menu, but you set it and it remains fixed, there is no knob or button to adjust the steering dual rate on the go which is very important to me, during speed runs I lower the rate and when I want to do offroad, more steering is always helpful. - There is no Timer function. - The telemetry car battery voltage reading is off by 0.25 volts. This is sad and unfortunate and now I am looking at getting rid of this radio especially after reading a lot of forums where everybody says the same things and apparently RadioLink don't care about their customers' feedback and won't be doing anything to resolve that. Also if you watch some youtube reviews on this radio, they are all good and positive, typical of paid commercials...

Hello, sir. Sorry for the unpleasant experience. We are making improvements of our products. Some functions you mentioned now is available. 1.You can assign any one of the switch to control the dual rate function now. 2. With TIMER function now. 3. As for telemetry voltage, make sure to test the battery voltage by multimeter. Because the voltage tested by other voltage test equipment is not accurate. 0.1V difference between the telemetry voltage and the real voltage is normal. If the difference is more than 0.1V, calibrate the voltage of the multimeter and check the difference again.

hello how make reverse throttle less aggressive in this redio?
@Radiolink_official2 жыл бұрын
Hello, sir. For RadioLink RC6GS transmitter, the response speed is fast. You can set for throttle and brake to make it less aggressive. For example, for throttle, you can set THSPD. Here is the tutorial of THSPD: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bKObo4qJbJ6optU And you can also set THEXP, EPA. For brake, you can set A.B.S. ATL and so on. If there is any other question when using RadioLink products, please feel free to send email to: after_service@radiolink.com.cn

Sorry if you mentioned this in the video but, does this radio have storage for multiple models?
@ericwang4744 жыл бұрын
It does if you get a separate receiver for each car. The transmitter can link to multiple receivers.
