Glad Wynston and you are feeling better. Wynston's test results so far have been informative and some levels of good news have surfaced in his test results, that's 👍to know. Other areas need a bit of work but togetherness through it all is key and his medical team sounds 1st Rate so that you can make positive decisions based on their findings. I didn't know until tonight about Wynston's recent health issues. We had to Evaluate from Hurricane 🌀 Milton and just returned back so I'm catching up on all my KZbin FAVS. We're still unpacking but were fortunately blessed with zero damage and have full Electricity 🙏. I'll be waiting for any further updates about sweet, sweet Wynston. ❤ you both.

I remember when my son was little and got really sick. He had to be in the hospital on antibiotics for 2 weeks. Turns out he had a really bad infection. It was hell. I feel you and if it helps at all I know exactly what you are going through. It’s hard but stay strong.

Our dog was in good health, got to a point. That he couldn't climb the stairs anywhere. When he was a puppy he got hit by a kid on a bike. It was in the his side around his hip. As he got older he developed arthritis in his hip. It ended getting so bad, that he could hardly walk anymore. He was a Rottweiler mix, he was to heavy to carry up the stairs. He was up in age about 15 or 16 and I made the hardest decision ever. I know that I did the right thing, to this I do still miss him. Hope Winston and you get through this ❤

I will keep Winston in my prayers. I lost both my chis this year. I think there will always be a hole i my heart. My best boy had CKD and after 2 1/2 years I had to let him go. He was almost 18 and it was time. My boy lived quite awhile on the Hills Renal diet along with an iron supplement. His half sister died suddenly from acute kidney failure. I think she was lonely without. Chis make the best buddies and road warriors.

I’m sure you have heard this a lot, but I did just go through this with my sweet Abby! She was a Yorkie! It’s heartbreaking! I have a question, though……is it good to give him bacon & human food? I share an actual diagnosis of White Coat Hypertension with Wynston. During one of my pregnancies I had to keep a log of twice daily BP readings and bring them to every appointment or they were going to admit me, and put me on medication and bed rest. At home they’re always in the ideal range. It’s still an issue with every medical appointment. I’m relieved to hear to he doesn’t have anything too alarming and unmanageable. One of my dogs is also 13 so I totally relate to your concerns.

I'm happy his results are mostly good. The renal stuff can be scary but like you said there are diets that can help, depending what's going on Lasix or other medications may also help him out. Having an older dog sucks BC you do have to prepare for things 😭 but man they love so freakin big it's so worth the pain!

Hi Amanda and Wynston❤ Poor baby. It's so hard getting older. Everything seems to go downhill. I wonder if he has some pinched nerve impacting his leg. Arthritis, when it flares, can cause that. The renal and liver enzymes will be increased with pain meds. If he wasn't hungry, he may not have been drinking enough water. Just like with humans, stress causes everything to go off. Hopefully, that's all that happened and no Valley Fever. I would go with the radiologist. Their whole job is reading x-rays. If he says no legion, then relax❤ You give him such a great life❤❤❤

I’ve had cervical surgery and I’ve have radiculopathy (numbness and nerve pain) in my arms and left leg because nerves were pinched in my spine. Just a thought that if Wynston has IVDD that may be pinching a nerve causing his problem with his leg and pain. I’d ask the vet about it to rule it out. Hoping he’s feeling better soon.

❤❤..Stay close to medical care for Wynston. In an emergency you WANT to be near your trusted veterinarian. The last 2 years of my fox terriers life I didn't travel beccause she had heart issues and would need sudden care. I'm glad I stayed close to home ❤❤ I did make sacrifices but she lived longer because I kept things low stress for her.

You have done everything you can. I wish you could get him to the cardiologist sooner. They may have a cancellation. Even if it’s a few days earlier. I am honored to be included as family. I feel as if I am family to precious Wynston. Thank you for giving us an update. Another member, Betty Kroll, commented about it maybe it might be a pinched nerve. I was so happy to see Wynston at the start of the video when he perked up as you mentioned that we were all praying for him. Can you alternate both special dog food options? One in the morning and the other in the evening. I just thought of that and don’t know if it’s even possible. I wonder if being in higher elevation places is or isn’t recommended. I know you were aware of that, but I wanted to ask if it made a difference. Wynston is in good hands. I took Meloxicam in the past. Luckily I don’t anymore. The 6 month checkups will be good.
