I’ve been in my van for roughly six months, and I’d still appreciate refreshers on the basics. Example is the toilet topic. I have this cool collapsible bag style toilet that was 29 bucks on Amazon. I never wanted to poop in a bag either, but about a month back I wound up with food poisoning at it finally happened 😂 I’ll be honest, it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it’d be. I learned not to fear the 💩 bag. Learning to plan your build is another huge topic. Do you actually need a sink? How much electricity? Layouts ect…

Van life in Canada is VERY different to van life in the UK. It's so much harder to find places to park/stay over here. It's also common to be broken into, or to have your van stolen. There are far fewer 'wild' places to park, and you can get vandalised if you park in residential/industrial areas. Though there are no bears to be careful of! :)
