can you please tell me if you have a video or manuael on changing out the motor encoder mine got damaged in shipping and will not auto calibrate to center because motor 1 encoder is damaged. i have a new one coming from you all. the chair will not center on start up

I ordered the H3 with SFU motors. Do I need to follow this video or the other one you made titled 'Assembly 3DOF DOF REALITY model with new frame'? Encoder motors were not an built to order option. Are they included with all H3 orders?

I'll reply to this now that I have built the rig. My product came with encoder motors and I followed this video.

@@manic_miner Thanks for the tip. I just watched it all the way through and will do so again just before it arrives. May I ask, did your boxes from DOF come with a set of screws for the seat? I ordered a seat but it didn't come with screws. Thanks in advance

@@marksmith2913 Yes but if your seat needs risers and has a slider rail, you will need longer screws. M8 x 70mm with a solid shaft at the top and a thread on the lower half should work fine.

upgrading the rear movement to SFU, where do I mount the arm post? Originally with old motors was on other side.

@@MDsports10 Original site gets hits by the left motor. Im actually just about to figure this out. think if I calibrate the back arm and then let it center, i'll know where I need to place the arm post. There is zero video on this. I plan to make one.

when you choose smu motor upgrade in purchasing do you get 2 or 3 because in the video there are 3 i see one for the rear (traction lost)

You get 3 motors.

@@V3JW i think you are kind of late on the response because i got it in tis week and having problems the motors are suppose to be encoder motors but when i turn the control box on motor 1 is not calibrating and going back to center causing the motor to hit the top of chair bracket and stay in a roll position. and on top of that SRS motor test does not do anything when moving the sliders individually. trying to get this resolved and all they send me is instructions that are impossible to follow.

They are motors that self calibrate

All new models are sent pre-assembled, there is no need to screw on the motors

Does the 3DOF come standard now with SFU motors? It is April 12, 2023 or are they still an option.

For P3 version - SFU - standard, for H3 you can chose - use worm gearbox or SFU
