This is absolutely fucking genius. Never before have I heard something this beautifully put together. This rivals the talent of David Gilmour himself, or even some of the greatest classical composers. Well done, Snarky Puppy.

Hard to replicate the percussive breakdown of the studio song with just a kit drummer and a percussionist. Having listened to the album and a dozen live performances of this song - I think this band did a pretty good attempt at it. I'm a drummer, and I think the ending percussion was weak - even though both players are honestly much better and more experienced than I am. Still, as a musician, it was fun watching this group try to approximate the energy and wall-of-noise the song actually called for. They got close enough to keep the people in the audience entertained. Musicians and percussionists should watch this, because it's a good lesson on the kinds of situations you'll be placed in on-stage...

That's how jazz works. The solos are never the same when performed again
