Oh wow a video on my birthday! Awesome! Anyway, when you mentioned bringing raditz back, I've always wondered why they haven't wished back the Saiyan planet yet. It'd be fun to see them all boosted after death but also to see Vegeta stronger than his father, Bardock potentially meeting his son, and Beerus' and Frieza' reaction that Goku would do this. It'd be fun to see Goku's nature clash with the imperialist society of the Saiyans. Also imagine a future where Vegeta is king of the Saiyans and Goku a god of destruction, oof.

The whole problem is that Toriyama made Raditz into Goku's brother and being a sibling is a big deal and puts some importance on Raditz as a character, for which he isn't getting recognition. It'd have been far easier if Raditz had been a stranger, just someone who'd have been sent by Vegeta to check out on a surviving Saiyan. We wouldn't have thought twice about him, then. But Raditz IS Goku's brother and with the whole wish Bardock pulled it'd be strange to ignore Raditz once more.

You touched on why I think he might come back, a connection to Bardock, since Goku's had that door opened for him now. I have a personal theory that we're going to get a recreation of Bardock's last stand above planet Vegeta, only with Goku saving the earth (and using Hakai to get rid of Frieza once and for all)

I’ve always said that an “Otherworld” arc would be great - like if they were to take the Janemba movie and retweak some stuff like what they did with Super Broly. I haven't been a fan of the series for all too long, however I got around to watching the entirety of Super last year and thought of a possibly conceivable way for the Sayians to return along with planet Vegeta. At the conclusion of the tournament between Universes 6 and 7, Beerus used the Super Dragon Balls to wish back Universe 6's Earth. Champa seemed like he might have wanted to return the favor. Along this, Cabba has immense respect for Vegeta and might want to give him something for promising to bring back all the universes erased by Xeno. I don't remember if this is accurate, but I remember that Cabba and the other Universe 6 inhabitants didn't ever seem to get the full impact that the Universe 7 Sayians were barbaric in nature; perhaps they use the Super Dragon Balls to revive the planet and Sayians of Universe 7, with poor wording reviving all Sayians who perished at and after the destruction of the planet. The arc can focus on the consequences. I don't know how feasible it is, but it's something I've thought about.

How about this concept of a possible return of Radditz: Several months after the Granola-Arc a group of powerful renegade Demons breaks out from hell and starts terrorizing Earth. Before that, the Twin Brothers, Gozu and Mezu, start an distraction on Namek and lure out most of the Z-Fighters. Only Goten and Trunks remains on earth. During a raid the demon Sanguin nearly kills Videl and Pan. But both are saved by Radditz, who became a member of King Yemma‘s Guard. Radditz defeats Sanguin and his lackeys and destroys them and their soul with a blue flamed technic, which he learned from his mentor and former Overseer Aoken. When the Z-Fighters learns from the raid on earth they return quickly. And all are shocked to see the returned Radditz. First of course, they want to fight him. But they learned form Videl of Radditz deed and they see Radditz‘ scarred Body, from his duty of penitence. Unfortunately there is not much time for a long discussion. Then the leader of the Renegades, Raksha Khan, has used the raid as another distraction to usurp the King Yemma‘s Throne. Yemma is murdered and Raksha Khan use his new power to conquer all hells. And if this mission is completed, the next diabolical plan of the Ursurper is to enslaved the world of the living. Goku and the Z-Fighters must put their differences with Radditz aside and work together with their former enemy. In this battle, the sons of Bardock must fight as one, to defeat Raksha Khan and his most powerful Comrades. What do you think? Tell me your feedback 👍🏽

Remember Bardock's line? I hope my sons end up thriving? There's the loophole you were looking for with regards to a potential jump in Raditz's power. It's not even outside of fanfic-yness to have the universe try to right itself in an attempt to get Raditz back into the thick of things. Heck, Raditz could even be an agent of HFIL/hell, dealing with various threats in exchange for keeping his body and what have you. Edit: Ahaha, so that line was mentioned near the end of the vid. Still, though. Dragon wishes are tricky. For one brother to thrive in exchange for another is fine in that situation, but Raditz hasn't been near his brother in a long time. I can't help but feel like things have been moving for Raditz outside of just being some random punching bag in hell.

Ok controversial take, but I would only really want Raditz back if Goku or his family had gotten any interest in his Saiyan heritage beyond the super saiyan forms they use. Either that or if the situation somehow involved time travel or alternate timelines. I just think that Raditz, despite his familial connection to goku, would be really hard to bring back into the series proper without it feeling like an asspull. I mean, given the power increase compared to start of Z, raditz would be hard to make relevant as is, and even if he could be made so, we already have a lot of characters that are Super Saiyans already. Like, what reason would there be to bring him back? And what could he bring to the story that other characters can't?

I was watching Bio-Broly movie and it occurred to me that after Superhero if carmine or someone else used the leftover tech used to make CellMax but used Raditz DNA thinking a saiyan could beat a saiyan but he went all weird like biobroly except they bring him around by the end to normal. it'd be a way to bring him back plus a power up with bio-engineering so he's relevant....

As much as I would like to see Raditz come back realistically speaking, I just don't see the sense or point in him coming back. Unless he was completely from a completely separate reality, like he was in heroes. To be honest I just don't see him coming back properly unless it's a separate reality, which could theoretically expand on the Multiverse of Dragonball even further than it's already been and connect all of the continuities together, but having Raditz come back in the main timeline, probably would be pointless at this point. Realistically speaking he would just be yet another forgotten character as Toriyama is known for forgetting much of what he has done as well as being vague and notoriously inconsistent

If I am correct, I believe with the various Bardock flashbacks, we see that Bardock is a low-class warrior, which means he did mostly scouting. With having two sons, and being probably the most traveled and intelligent Saiyan withing the scouters, it made him more empathetic and more open to new things. We see this with Goku, who expressed how he thinks change is a good thing, and has shown high intelligence in fighting, as well as being open and capable of learning a thing or two from everyone. Raditz wasn't given much screentime, but maybe Radits had that passion for learning as well, and it shows through his nephew, Gohan. Perhaps Freeza let the Saiyans train, which Vegeta and Nappa did, but Raditz instead of training to fight, chose to learn what he can with the ships logs. He may have found on what still existed of Saiyan and other planets history, as well as an understanding of plant and animal physiology. This would have made Radits and excellent scout.

I could see Raditz being brought back as a villain before joining the heroes. Perhaps some other powers are at play in the universe and are amassing the force necessary to battle the Z-fighters. They could have learned of Frieza's defeat on namek and then seeing his demise on earth by a complete stranger, tells them that they are not ready. Imagine among this group is a Dark Namekian that has created a set of small dragon balls. Seeing power in Kakarot's blood, they revive Raditz giving him time to train his ass off for the eventual confrontation in Super. To make Raditz unique and a worthy opponent, he could have a transformation that no one else has access to. Perhaps something akin to SSJ4 but golden.

i think they can make it work. like maybe beerus is looking for an ancient relic, treasure or some information that was on some planet just like how he was looking for the super saiyan god. vegeta said he heard of the planet but never went there, and how raditz was given orders from frieza to destroy it. so they wish raditz back and ask him if he knew what happened to the thing beerus was looking for before he destroyed the planet. then after that it would just be raditz going through culture shock about current events. he gets shocked at how goku and vegeta are both super saiyans, but is disgusted that they worked with frieza to win the tournament of power after everything he's done to their race. he's not even mad that vegeta didn't wish him back with nappa because it was a saiyan thing to do, but to work with frieza makes him lose respect for him. then gohan sees raditz and he gets ptsd like how trunks did when he saw goku and thought he was goku black, but after they hang out they get on good terms, and he shocks raditz by telling him he's a great uncle. chichi could get mad at seeing raditz, blaming him for everything because after he took gohan that's when her life started to change for the worse. he made her a widow, took her son, it was because of him that her husband's arch nemesis also took her son, had all of these evil aliens and deities come to her planet to try and destroy it and it made her son lose focus on his studies. he doesn't even have to stay for long. they could make it so that tarble needs help on some other planet, and raditz offers to help him, and then train him. then in the future both raditz and tarble can come back and have vegeta and goku train and fight with them. it would be like a sibling rivalry tag team match.

Having not watched the video quite yet, I have one idea of bringing Raditz back into the story somewhat. However he gets brought back to life, he essentially gets placed under the care of the Galactic Patrol and, after some convincing by Goku (With maybe some nudging from Jaco) he gets to help out the patrol by going after some rogue Heeter splinter groups that haven't been mopped up by Frieza. Over time he eventually begins to turn over a new leaf, eventually meeting the Dragon Team again and possibly even apologizing for what he did in the past (Probably through gritted teeth). In an extreme variation of this, he could end up being placed under the watch of the Pride Troopers as a bit of a trial by fire to make him see sense and change his ways. Either he shapes up or he gets placed in the Galactic Patrol prison for the rest of his life.

I've always thought one way to bring back/redeem Raditz. While bringing his power level up to speed so he matters. Is that for whatever reason, he worked his way up in hell to being some sort of police force of sorts. Keeping some of the villains Goku and the gang have faced, from using various methods of escaping. Which would definitely cause him to power up over time. And maybe getting an exclusive power up due to tapping into some sort of power you can only learn in hell. If there's a big bad either escaping from hell, whether it's a past villain or a new one. Having King Yemma send out his potential hand picked "protector of Hell" out in the living realm to bring said villain back. Would sure be f*cking fun!

Ways to bring back Raditz 1) Goku takes a trip to see Bardock and in the other saiyans in hell and Raditz has been doing push ups for 20 years waiting for a round 2. 2) Was his body in one piece? Well, have him be in a Red Ribbon Army bunker somewhere as an android. Lapis and Lazuli were what Gero could get away with outside of the red ribbon army resources, but Raditz had been sitting like a soviet nuke for years. (But that is basically Cell Max, ain't it?) 3) Babadi had a son (I would go with twins names Alla and Kazam), and is trying to recapture Majin Buu in a gag arch using Magin controlled undead. "Wait, Goku had an evil brother? THATS PERFECT! Lets majin him up!" 4) Toriyama goes to MasakoX house and says "You are my new son" and he gets to write Raditz his way

image if they made a tree of might reboot that brought back raditz and turles by having turles being some sort of demonic saiyan (sort of an anti-yamoshi) who's soul yenma trapped into a "mighty tree" meant to drain his power and raditz, being the first saiyan and mortal clever enough to get through the security around the tree, ends up possesed by this demonic reboot turles after taking a bite of the fruit produced by the so called "tree of might".

MasakoX, keep in mind it is possible that the creator of dragon does watch your channel. As a way to get new ideas of how to keep the fans interested. Between you and team four star and many other fan based channels they all are useful resources to watch when a Creator is out of ideas what to do next back in the 1990s youtube didn't exist and internet was just taking off so he had to resort to fan mail. Not much help in that department as it isntt as clean as just hopping onto youtube looking up the name of your show you made with "what if" and then find all these different channels.

i dunno about him returning in super unless there's a good reason and good build up, but hypothetically, if dragon ball (og and z) got a reboot with updated lore, i find it hard to believe that they'd willingly do our boy dirty a second time. they're surely aware of his popularity these days. i mean, look at the respect he was given in super dragon ball heroes. that super saiyan form of his is badass. imagine seeing that in a canon reboot for the first time.

Another way getting him back was via dr.slumps process, arale's crew could have harvested his body and piccolo's severed arm and remains of his space pods... A soulless raditz can have a cybernetic revival which can have cerebral android programming until his original soul returns from afterlife

I think Raditz should have a half-Saiyan daughter or something that came to Earth to revive him she would be strong enough to fend off the z warriors and make an escape with Raditz and this can also make the fighters on Earth especially Piccolo realize the dragon balls are can be dangerous needs to be actively protected this can also be a way for Raditz to become the first Super Saiyan 4 and introduce it to the story like he cuts off his tail because its a liability and trains then becomes super Saiyan and then the tail grows back cause maybe he wasn't strong enough then he decides to train it embracing his Saiyan blood and stuff and when push comes to shove he ends up becoming super saiyan 4 during a battle or something

Raditz would be good to see back... But I have no idea how he would catch up to the power gap. Even the henchmen are stronger than Raditz. At best... He would be a stepping stone to find out about his father. Yes Xenoverse had Bardok get stronger... But we would need a lot of work to pull him to get any level of power or importance. Because Vegeta even has more lore and knowledge about their own damn race. My best guess? A wish gone wrong or someone having snatched the body a long time ago and was toying with it.

The thing is: if Raditz returns, why not Nappa? Why not Planet Vegeta? And the answers are pretty simple: • That would probably be a massive arc all on it's own. • You then start thinking: why not reform every villain? • Most Importantly: Beerus gave his blessings when destroying Vegeta, it would actually be a pretty massive slap to his face if they brought it back. Hence an even more massive arc. Not that I'm against any if it, but it's gonna derail current Super, a lot.

Easiest concept: The evil God of Destruction from Universe ? knows that Goku forgives everyone so he recruits Raditz and trains him to absurd power. Raditz pretends to be Gokus friend but maybe has a change of heart.

if Raditz does come back and they give him some Super Crazy form like a his own verison Super Saiyan 4 i'm not saying Super Saiyan 4 itself but something like it or maybe new Saiyan Form on levels that can Rival Goku in Power, and its Mini Arc Return of R. This Mini Arc should be PURELY Focused Goku and Piccolo vs Raditz in Rematch, yeah Vegeta and Gohan sit this one out, and in the End story its New Saiyan Form Raditz and MUI Goku are both exhausted and about have final punch on one or other and its Raditz go down first and Goku goes down next him, and they both have moment and Raditz turns Good

If Broly can return and be made cannon then Raditz and Nappa need to return also. Imagine Broly training Nappa and Raditz. Or them spending a year or so in the time chamber. They're full blooded Saiyans and one is Goku's brother for crying out loud. Have one join the team *cough Raditz* and the other pretend to be good then return to being a villain. Have them reach similar ssj god modes and give Nappa a rematch against Vegeta for revenge. And a rematch with Goku Piccolo and Raditz to settle old grudges. Where the characters go after that is up to the writer but it would be dope.
