The downside does seem pretty substantial, + the 0 card draw… how did this card feel for you when you were play-testing it? Did it feel a little bit like the OG merc camp in a way?

I don't remember it feeling like og Merc camp (playing with or against). For one, this doesn't target camps so it already feels better to play against. It is similar in that it is a camp you would probably target early just so you felt like you could play your people without having as much worry. Sure you get to use the person after it's destroyed but you want to be able to use them more than one time, that's why you play them. But as the player with it, you probably aren't targeting everything the opponent plays. You want to make sure the ability being dealt back won't hurt you too much. It's a fun one, maybe a little stressful to play against but nowhere near as oppressive as og Merc camp could feel. I hope this answered your question somewhat, it's been a bit since playtesting so I don't remember everything. I really appreciate you watching and commenting on all these previews ☺️

@@universityofradlands thanks for the thoughtful reply! Ahh fascinating- can’t wait to play with/against it once it’s out then. I appreciate all the effort you put into the game 🫶🏼

If I use Guillotine on my opponent, when can my opponent use the person's ability, during MY turn and immediately (similar to Vanguard and Octagon) or only during my opponent's turn when my turn ends? I know you mentioned Muse here, but it was not clear for your Sniper example.

It's used immediately after they are destroyed. Card abilities don't linger around; It needs to be resolved. So in the case of sniper, they are destroyed and then the opponent gets to deal a damage to any of your cards (if they want too). Then you can continue your turn after that.
