The Most Expensive Paint Ever! Painting the John Deere 2510

Who's ready for some very expensive paint?! Now, I actually had this paint before I started on the 2510 for another project, but this paint will work excellent for this project as well.

Could be the dealer decal. Would be nice to see the original dealer decal just to see where it came from. There were also safety stickers, not sure if the dealer puts those on or someone that buys the tractor put them on.

Was watching with my jaw dropped to the floor lol. with that expensive paint how about doing more prep work, and proper temp. That finish I would expect to be like glass.

Ya your finale paint will slow everything. Usually when you have decals you need to grind em off the primer it sand it reprimer then paint. Not to be a critic but that's a rough bondo job lol. Good job on the painting. Am wondering what you 0aid for the paint lol

I think I just used Rustoleum primer.

What brand is the white primer paint? Looks great so far. Makes me want to clean up our 2640.

Cost is $175. , Good paint over an inferior primer... OEM did not use primer. But Hey it looks good anyway.

That body fill is the wrong way to go. Rust is like cancer if you dont get it all out it'll come back.

Oh I agree, but the body filler wasn’t going on rust, it’s going on the paint that is supposed to stop the rust. And as for the rust I can’t get to, well it will show up at some point
