If you did not use JD classic green, you used the wrong color shade

What type of primer sealer did you use? Did you use any hardener in the primer? Also what did you use in the John Deere paint besides the hardener? I have a John Deere 820 myself and am slowly but surely doing a restoration.

I would say probably some type of epoxy primer for corrosion resistance. I use eastwood, nason, spi or ppg; eastwood being my favorite and the cheapest. You can reduce most epoxy's 10% to use as a primer sealer and wait around 30mins to start spraying your color coats.
