Know this video has been out for a while but wanted to say, there is some meat you are leaving on top of the pompano head. Love the videos. Keep em coming.

Cleaning fish for 30 years and never thought to leave the meat on the other side for height when cutting it off of the spine... Never too old to learn I guess. Thanks.

Thanks for the tutorial. I feel like tou wasted a lot of meat by cutting all the rib cage out. I sliced just a bit under the ribs then folded the ribcage in half and the ribs pop out and i pulled em out

You can use fillet scrap strips can’t you? And which fish would you target with these scraps? Still learning here. Thanks! Your videos are awesome. You’re one hell of angler. ✌️

Thanks for watching and commenting. I hadn't really thought of using the strips except for chum.

Where do you get your teasers and goofy jigs? Hard to find in local shops by me.

I get mine locally in a small tackle shop.

@@RadReelingFishing ya l was curious as in your video it looks like the fish was bleeding from the Gill.
@RadReelingFishing Жыл бұрын
@@davebl9645 I may have bled them in this video, not sure. Sometimes I do with Pompano, but most of the time I don't. If I'm in the kayak it's easy for me to bleed them, theydie quicker so I can put them in the ice box without fear of them jumping out of the kayak.

Very good demonstration sir but why are you not using a safety glove a metal mashed safety glove it only take a moment if you slide your hand open to slice your fingers Safety gloves cost about $89-$100 but medical bills are far far more expensive Please wear a metal mash safety gloves for your own sake whenever you cutting any kind of fish or meet sir
