Mounting a water bottle on a 2018 or 2019 RadRover is a little bit of a pain. But, there is a really elegant solution thanks to the good folks at MRI-Denver.com.
They have come up with a really handy bracket, that, along with a couple of side-mount water bottle cages, is the perfect solution. I love it, and you will too!
I used Bontrager as that was all my LBS had, and they were ridiculously expensive, so I found these on Amazon. This is my affiliate link so I will make a little off your purchase with no added expense to you.

The '19s have a spot on the down tube below the battery. Looks like a tough spot to get the bottle out. Love this solution. That'll be on the wish list.

Vagabond_Rob I did mount one on the bottom of my 2019 in the spot you mention, but there’s no way to safely pull it out while riding. It’s better than nothing though.

Rad Rover Way I’m sorry if I haven’t gotten to see all your videos yet. I just stumbled onto your channel last night. Any recommendations on a phone mount? I’m a bit different in that I have a rad mini and handlebar real estate is limited and also curved and tapered on the rad mini in spaces not already being used. I was almost thinking of using the top top tube ... but that wouldn’t be good for gps and also not immediately realizing if it falls off while riding.

I bought the bottle holder mounting bracket and installed it and then put my 21 oz water bottles in, but the handlebars are hitting the tops of the bottles. I have a 2019 Radrover. Looking at your video again it looks like your handlebars are sitting up about a inch or so higher. Did you modify your stem?

That’s from MRI Denver I just finished pricing that before seeing this. They have so many wonderful items at their site. Speaking of only money I priced $800 bucks of things I want. I know that you have mentioned that any water bottle cage will work, but the majority of all water bottle cages will Mount to the bracket that you have here, and be facing sideways, instead of to the front, like your’s is. From what I am seeing, you need a cage that has a side Mount and then faces forward. Do you have a thought about this?

The ones I used did have a side mount, but there isn't any reason you couldn't have a front mount installed. You would just insert the bottles from the side rather than as you see here. Might even work a little better. Hope that helps.

Just looked at a picture of the 2018 and it looks like it has the mount on the bottom of the frame underneath the battery just like my 2019. Most people must miss it because it’s located on the bottom of the bike.

I dont understand what the big think is about water. Like your really going to do a marathon and if you dont have water your going to die. Just throw it in your basket like I do, and be done with it.

It probably depends on the climate of the bike rider. If it’s a hot desert area you would definitely want to have some drinks with you. You could also pop a Bluetooth speaker in one of these bottle holders, etc. I’d love to be able to bring my insulated coffee sipper mug on rides.
