Hi Lexi, thank you for the comprehensive overview. The ultimate cheekbone brush really grabs me from an aesthetic and functional pov as does the magnetic rae frame. The brushes look so cool hanging upside-down or standing right-side up by the themselves as if by magic, lol. 🎩 ✨ 😀

You're so welcome! I completely agree. The frame was just too cool of a display to resist!

Hi Lexi, I adore Rae's brushes. I have the Rae Frame with around 15 of her brushes and have stopped shopping for makeup brushes! I have the best and I have enough brushes for every look. I also have 2 of Rae's books and love her how to guide x

Same here. My favorite are the eye and smaller face brushes. They are workhorses and under rated.

Thank you! I want nothing to do with the synthetic brushes. Might pick up a few of what is left. 😊

@@LexiJong Why? Why the need to change all to synthetic? Please. No woke explanations. Ugh. They're not the same. Why not make both available. I'm going in later this month and I'm going to make one or two big buys. I fear natural going away for good or a long period of time till people come to their senses.

@@CatherinaMonica i am feeling the same way! There are so many pros and cons to each but i feel like goat hair is really the best option overall. Mariah hair is getting harder to source and prices are increasing for the same level of quality.

@@LexiJong I'd rather use drug store makeup (not really, lol) but I want good quality, natural hair brushes! Brushes are what makes or breaks it. So stupid.

Great review, as usual! I've been curious about Rae Morris brushes and the sale set is a fantastic deal! I think this great for people wanting to add to their collections, but personally, I'm poor after the Sonia G releases! LOL This was great though and it was tempting!

Lexi, I really enjoyed learning about makeup brushes. I did not know there was so much to them. Do you have to throw them away after each use?
@LexiJong2 жыл бұрын
No, you wash them between uses.
@KnockOutCutie2 жыл бұрын
Dang I was completely oblivious to this transition and am completely bummed I won’t get to try to original ones. I’ve been too busy collecting Sonia G brushes. The new travel set caught my attention but didn’t realize those are synthetic too. Respectfully I don’t agree with her prices for these synthetic ones. Might as well get real techniques lol. Idk why this ruffles my feathers lolllll 😆
@LexiJong2 жыл бұрын
I completely understand! I feel that they are overpriced for synthetics as well but I am willing to buy the set for the functionality of the magnets and frame when traveling. That is what sets it apart for me but I think if it weren’t for those aspects, I would pass as well.

I forgot to add. The highlighter brush is made of badger. Water badger I believe but for sure badger hair.

@@LexiJong I know only because I got it and it had the information, which I put it on my excel sheet of brushes I have. Just fyi as companies move away from natural I've learned to put the hair length, ferrule size and hair type in an excel. The info gets deleted.

The flawless shader has a little bit more structure but the sculpting brush is thinner, slightly.
