I'm crying because of how happy the real Rae is now! After watching all 2 seasons and seeing what she really went through (more or less) and seeing how happy she is now is so inspiring. It really does give me hope. This series gave me hope. It's absolutely brilliant. :']

They basically all went their separate ways. The Gang is different in the book. Rae never gets a boyfriend.

Archie isn't in the book, Chloe isn't it's a girl called Bethany that Rae doesn't like, chop is called 'battered sausage' Finn is a guy called haddock but rae never even kisses him. He's always got a girlfriend. Izzy isn't in the book either.

It’s kinda funny how I could sense that Sharon had a different accent than rest of the crew, so I always wondered if she was from somewhere else. Now listening to her real accent, her English accent sounds pretty good. (She sounds amazing in Scottish tho)

Yes the story is a real diary. But none of the characters in the show are in the book really. Most of the situations are fake and the relationship Rae has with Finn isn't real.
