Noman Sajid I am not saying this happen to you but it sound like it did but, the reason why some women did that to you because you choose them, that is who you attracted to. Now, if you choose the opposite, you might find the right woman, but you don’t want to. So you going to keep being in the same situation. Widen out, and you will get results.

The thing is though...most teachers are not skilled in the art of psychology so they don’t know many of the mental disorders! What this girl is suffering is something I struggled with in my high school as well! Of course I just thought that it was though the teacher that was making me fall asleep! But it was the lack of iron due to having unknowingly having crohns! I say unknowingly cuz I never knew when I and if I had crohns at that time but I had lost a lot of weight! I weighed 72 pounds at that time and I needed to to be at least 115....i just never knew that I was falling asleep due that! Long story short, even the teacher loved me he told me it was rude of me to sleep in the class! After that I actually did try to stay up but my health wouldn’t corporate! Plus the freaken classroom would be freezing cold! And the bigger laugh was that I wasn’t the only one falling asleep! Many people in his class fell asleep!

Well mate, if you stay up for almost 40hrs and are expected to function like a normal human being, you know, not falling asleep, paying attention and what not, I guess you cant help but die or kill for a proper nights rest. I remember one time i stayed awake for almost 70hrs. I drank so much coffee, so much Monster and ate like 25 cafeine pills a day just to not fall asleep. I needed to because i had a shitton of work to do that i fell behind, my finals were coming closer and I had an interview for an entry position. The two most tortorous things are listenin to the most boring math lecture you can imagine and driving. Honestly, never been so scared to get in me car in me whole life, because sometimes you wouldnt fall asleep driving, just "waking up". You dont quite recognize your surroundings and stuff, like youve just been put into that situation where youre going 60mph down the road. That said, I would die for a proper nights rest but I am also willing to die. its a win-win situation.

as someone with narcolepsy, I genuinely appreciate this documentary. It is incredibly difficult to live with this condition. Staying awake during class is impossible. Laughing too hard can feel like a punch in the back of the knee. You sleep for most of your day and your brain is still so irritated from fatigue that your body can feel like it is on fire. Every single joint in your body aches because you're never active enough to stretch them. And yet it is expected of you to function like a normal person from day to day. But there are many different ways to cope with this illness that is never talked about with us. We are not broken people, we just work differently! I hope Belle knows that she isn't alone at all with this condition.

She has such an awesome boyfriend. He just accepts her the way she is and doesn’t make her feel bad for something she can’t control. My boyfriend is the same. I have a real issue with packrat behaviour and find it hard to throw things out. He looked at my place and goes, “This isn’t bad. I’ve worked at really bad places and this isn’t bad at all” He loves me for who I am, not stupid things like that.

Probably cause sometimes she has to, also since riding a bike keeps you more active she would probably fall asleep if she took a bus or a train and always make her miss her stop or be harrassed. She might also have ways of dealing with it like taking a nap before she drives home and maybe something to keep her awake while driving.

But then there’s plenty of black people who are rich like Will Smith and Denzel Washington, we are all born with are own challenges some more then others but if you want to make the most at of life you need to stop blaming other people and except what you have and don’t have and make a effort to get want you want, your not going to get far if you play a victim.

The cushions are meditation cushions, you sit on them to straighten your posture. The blankets are for the final relaxation, or could be used during yoga nidra: Something you'd probably enjoy, since yoga nidra also works when you fall asleep halfway through. Nidra means sleeping with a hint of awareness, and it is designed to make the information processing in the brain during deep sleep more efficient. It is also one of the easiest, if not laziest, ways to get into samadhi (enlightenment) if you have a good teacher.

I swear to God there are so many horrible teachers. In my last year of school I had an horrible ear inflammation that came out of nowhere and would not leave, even the slightest touch (or wind) made me cry in pain. Dammit, I have narcolepsy and people truly don’t understand:( first it’s invisible, second it doesn’t kill you so who cares right? It’s cruel, and my dreams have been dashed, medical school was gone, certain relationships get ruined and some people even think you’re wasted or on drugs. God this is 100% accurate, I just can’t believe it...I wish more people understood it :(

"Invisible" (they're not invisible, people just don't look close enough) illnesses suck. I feel you there. I have quite a few chronic "invisible" illnesses and they're deliberating. I have chronic migraines (4-5 a week) and have had them since I was 2 - that's my "main" problem, and people still think I'm overreacting despite mothers who have given painful births stating that migraines are much worse. And narcolepsy sucks. It's gross when your eyes start closing by themselves and you want to be awake; you want to live. You fight it, but you'll always end up laying down and giving in. It feels gross, and what's worse, is that the sleep is a temporary relief... so the thing you really don't want to do is the only thing that will make you feel better. That lack of power and the pure sensation that you're sleep deprived is nasty. I hope you magically get better. Even if it's not possible I do wish that for you ❤️

I have narcolepsy without cataplexy, very similar to hers, however, she's lucky that naps make her feel awake temporarily again. For me, if I lay down for a nap, I'll easily sleep a few hours. Unmedicated, I can sleep up to 17-20 hours of a day, waking up periodically, say 5-8 times, but can only stay awake anywhere from 10 mins to maybe an hour. Basically when I sleep, my 'battery' doesn't recharge so the quality of my sleep is always poor no matter how much I sleep. I've tried everything, change in diet, etc. Minor improvements at most. I knew something was wrong when I was younger and someone said, "I got such a good night's sleep last night, I feel so refreshed and woke up ready to go and alive!" And I remember thinking, "That's possible? I wonder what that's like. I've never felt that."

I never have good sleep and when I do sleep it's 10-15 hrs or a whole 24 hr dayI with bathroom breaks , I loose days sometimes, ill get up to eat and then go back to bed. The hardest is not being able to spend time with my family. My husband and son are so good at helping me, but it is still very hard on them. I really do feel your pain!

@@chelseym.6560 1) How did you manage to even breastfeed your son and take care of him when he was a baby and later a toddler? I'm assuming other female family members distributed those tasks among themselves. 2) Did you have this when your husband married you? Or did it emerge later? 3) Also, how do you keep blood clots, skin infections, muscle atrophy and bone density loss at bay, if you are not subjecting your body to work against gravity and motion and moderate wear and tear, just like nature intended? 4) What about obesity, blood-sugar metabolism related issues and other complications arising from this? *"The hardest is not being able to spend time with my family. My husband and son are so good at helping me, but it is still very hard on them."* Your own life is very hard, but thank you for recognizing that their lives are hard too - patients often times are sadly unable to see that caretakers' lives involve sacrifice for them. My advice would be to use a major portion of your awake time eating, exercising, emptying bowels, bathing, skin care etc. with some conversations and hugs with husband and son, and asking your husband to give you deep tissue massages maybe 2-3 times a week to make some use your asleep time and to tell your husband and son that in order to compensate for reduced awake interaction with you, they can cuddle you every 2-3 days during your asleep time.

asdf asdf Honey it’s not that you mite get it more than likely you could have it but not diagnosed. Just an example. Or just by some twist of fate something happens in a persons life and it comes on that way. As a kid growing up I lived in a very abusive house. I would make myself go to sleep as a way of staying safe and not being accused of any mayhem. Cause the consequences meant a beating. After doing that for so long now my body responds to stress by physically and mentally become drained and I have to take a nap. Just being around my bipolar sister and hearing her endlessly talking about the past puts me in that state and I have to go down. Honey that’s just my road not act like a doctor or anything

Her talking about falling asleep in class and kids taking pics and making fun of her made me so grateful that I graduated before camera phones were a thing. I used to fall asleep in class all the time and kids were pretty mean about it. I now realize I had and still have sleep apnea, and that was very likely the cause, but no one wanted to look into that. They just assumed I was lazy or stayed up too late all the time.

It's such a double-edged sword, hey? I thank you for sharing this line of thinking. My response became a lot longer than I expected, so you're welcome to skip... but I'm glad to have written it and perhaps it will resonate with someone else. ✌️🍍 I've got a severe learning/developmental disability and chemical mood disorder that weren't diagnosed until my late teens; treatment didn't fully stabilize them for a long time after that. Kids were merciless, toying with my social ineptitude. Teachers just thought I was dawdling or being lazy and held me to the same standard as other students. Family knew something was "off" but not what (they did consult doctors who waved away their concerns), and therefore couldn't provide support that would help me be more successful (though they loved me and did the best they could with what they had). If the internet had been around when you and I were young, our parents would have been more likely to find the answers they were looking for and the resources we needed. It's crossed my mind many times how much less discouraging my path through life might have been, with an education properly fitted to my disability (but these are just musings, not a "what if" pity party). At the same time, I have never thought about how our current technologies might have affected the social impact! As adults we might now have the skills, strategies, and maturity to compensate for gaps in education methods, but I know that I'm as socially inept as I was through elementary school, and no special classes would have changed that in my childhood. Today's technology would have been much harder for us to handle, able to spread the humiliation we already felt far beyond the contained spaces of our schools and neighborhoods. The internet, social media, and our devices are gifts I dreamed of as a child - they allow me to learn more than I could ever focus on in a classroom, earn a living on my own terms, meet people who share my interests, ignore those who don't care about my perspective or feelings, and know that I'm not the only one whose brain works like this. But as grateful as I am for these blessings, I'm absolutely certain that if they had emerged just a few years earlier, I'd be a much different, more wounded person today - if I was still here at all. That's where my thoughts on this subject end, for now. It'll keep percolating at the back of my brain with other "things to ponder sometimes", and leave you with thanks, again, for providing this opportunity to see the sword's other edge. Cheers, and all the best. 💪🍍

I had a friend in High School with this disease. In his senior year one year behind me he drove home from his girlfriend's house late at night....she tried to get him not to drive home that night. He fell asleep on a highway at highway speed at hit a semi truck coming in the other lane head on clipping the drivers wheel of the semi off, with such force the semi rolled on its side and his car left pieces scattered for hundreds of feet. I happen to be working as a photographer for a local paper and heard the accident on the scanner I had and went to go get pics for the paper. I was allowed thru the police line and the only recognizable part of his car was a rear panel....he had a very unique car and I knew who's it was right away. When I got there they were covering him with a white sheet that turned red almost immediately. It was just surreal and I never really processed it till years later. He should not have been allowed to drive....ever....his girlfriend was destroyed that night too because she knew he shouldn't have tried driving home. Please do not drive....its not just your life you risk but others too.

Well I have narcolepsy myself and it does prevent us from driving a commercial vehicle (not that I ever really wanted to). But tbh it's going to be hard to drive a normal car anyway because being in a vehicle just makes you go to sleep 10x quicker. So she is riding a vespa which helps her to stay awake, by having the wind in your face and also prevents her from doing long journeys etc.
