We're down at Richmond Falls in North Yorkshire. Rae and Ricky take a swim in the river Swale and some strangers go tubin over the falls.

When I was young, we visited our family from Yorkshire (Richmond). The area was beautiful. This is back in late 70's,80's. I always remember a day out by a river. The area was busy, with people swimming, picnics on the lawn areas. There were some dams, which were used as water slides (I think 3). Depending on current. I try hard to find this area now but bet you are not allowed to do this anymore. The stones and rocks were slippery, the current could change at any time. I recall nearly going down one of the dams being forced by the current. I swam and swam to avoid but was getting nowhere, until a man helped me out. There was lots of green area where parents would relax as if on a beach. It is a great memory though honestly.

i go there every summer i only live 5 minuts away its so fun especially when you jump of the water falls
