c.616 AD, a mighty clash of kings beckons on the eastern banks of the River Idle. The belligerents, one King Raedwald of East Anglia and the other Aethelfrith of Deira and Bernicia. This clash being both a struggle for influence and power also holds the fate of an exiled king, looking to re-establish his own ambitions to the northern kingdoms of pre-unified England.
